That's what bad GMs think, "I have an extra pick so I don't need it".  TT got Lang, Sitton and Daniels in the fourth round.  Those are valuable picks.

Yeah 20/20 hindsight is a wonderful thing.  But when you have a GM that can sign more than one quality FA per year you may not need a bunch of mid round picks that need a few years to be productive.

This will be the new quote!! Haha, what a dumdum!!

An ILB?  Apparently you paid ZERO attention to who the Bears signed in Free Agency.  Fangio , love a designated pass rusher, Alden  Smith anybody?  Floyd on one end, McPhee on the other, Rodgers may develop a close relationship to the turf.

Here's the thing I love about Emery. When he sees a problem or deficiency, he attacks it via multiple angles. He doesn't just sign one FA, he drafts the position as well. I think the Trestman/Emery duo are going to have a fantastic run in Chicago.

2014 called and wants it worn out Packer troll smack back.

1993 called it and it wants its catchphrase back.

And the Bears have won how many playoff games in the last 5 years with all those FA signings?

It still fits.....

I like Coleman.  I preferred Doctson but have no issue with the Browns preferring Coleman.  He's probably more of a #2 WR but with the picks they accumulated going from 2 to 15, they did pretty well.

I'm not a big Decker fan.  He's a top run blocker but pretty bad at pass pro.  You don't draft OT's in the top half of the first that can't pass block.  And with Reiff at LT, they're pretty weak at pass pro at both tackle spots.

And the draft is officially off the rails.  Keanu Neal at #17.  Again, not surprised but I never saw a single mock with Neal going that high.  Packers are going to have a nice player drop to them.

Quinn is chasing a safety so he can have the back end the Seahawks had.  That's the problem with some of these defensive coaches, they try to recreate what they had, not realizing that guys like Sherman, Thomas and Chancellor are pretty damn unique.

And Ryan Kelly to the Colts is probably the most obvious pick of the entire first round.  Made so much that it almost had to happen.  Luck gets his Jeff Saturday.  Smart pick.

What ever happened to the good ol' days of pulling the bowl to clear the bong.  That's a lot of wasted good smoke!

Great analysis 'toad, that is exactly what I come to x4 for!

Dare I say, that is old school thinking right there.

Thank you antooo!

Oh! I was listening to Bill Micheals today and the last segment of the program was fantastic!  He had Mike Clemens on for hour 4.  Last year when they were out for the SB, Clements was on a mission to track down former coaches etc. of Aaron's and that whole last hour is PACKED (pun intended) with interviews with his HS coach, the Butte coach, etc.  It was fantastic!  Awesome hour 4 podcast of interview with Mike Clemens on Aaron's career

This GIF reminded me of one coaches comment on how Aaron had rolled left and threw a dime unlike any of them had seen.   Take a listen I highly recommend!

Shaq Lawson is a nice pick for Rex.  He'll be a hell of a player in that front 7.

Kind of hoping the Packers trade down.  There are way too many good players available and none of them really rises up as a "must have" player at 27.  Although Jack is enticing, his knee injury must be a big time issue.  Not sure I'm ready to go through Justin Harrell 2.0.
