Backups on secondary not so good that time
ChilliJon posted:Pass rush has been non existent tonight. Entire game. Not good.
Which starters are you concerned about?
Return, nope waters ugh
Yeah, backups haven't produced any pressure on Oakland.
LBs and DBs are still playing well. Excepting the long pass play, of course.
29 is a ball player!
All seven balls, baby!
NICE pick!
Nice blonde in Daisy Dukes in the background of the Lacy interview.
good interception! and yards tacked on facemask
Williams looking to be our next running qb...hope not
He should be excellent running the scout team for the defense.
I really like this ref!

Good catch. I noticed too...
If not on a tablet I would go back and screen shot it!
I really was rooting for Pennell....
He really is not giving a good impression tonight. Despite the NEED for DL, with his impending suspension, he's not helping himself...
Pookie!
Zooked
Gunter whiffed his block on the punt block TD.
Gunt is made a c*nt.
Turrible effort of a block there... which results in a block
ugh, special teams! not good eather team

I thought Squirewell exploded his knee there after that bull run.

Think Ted will find a practice squad spot for squirrel.
No idea what Gunt could've been thinking on that punt. He's better than that.
Squirewell is missing his neck!
I admire the the person taking the pic for charging their phone while on the field.

Who needs a neck with those nuts!
Winning the battles up front on both sides of the ball so far. Good signs.

- Tretter dominated the 1st quarter.
- Much better showing from Ripkowski this week.
- ILB's played well again. I like how they are attacking the LOS. Jake Ryan can stay on the sidelines all year. Martinez, Barrington and Thomas are all significantly better.
- I'm not worried about lack of pass rush. Carr got the ball out quick nearly evey pass.
- Spriggs struggled against Mack but very few tackles don't. He didn't embarrass himself.
- Nice to see Adams make a couple plays
- They are already splitting Cook out wide in place of a 4th WR.
- Still think Williams should be the practice squad QB.

Carl Lewis? And Carl could sing.
Anybody with enough money can record a vanity album (Florence Foster Jenkins?) You should have given people the opportunity to judge whether Lewis could actually sing:

Johnson, like Carl Lewis, could "sing":
Another encouraging performance by our defense & starting offensive line. When we played them last season their offense gained nearly 400 yards on us (of course we had the 2 early picks to put us up 14-0) and last night they only gained 74 yards with their starters for the first half & this was without CM, Peppers, & Burnett. On the other side of the ball, last season we rushed for less than 4 yards per carry ( 28 for 103) , can't find stats for just first half last night, but first unit had to rush for 4+?
