Well I am a long time Capitals fan (lived in DC for a long time) so its hard for me to pick them after all of their choking in the playoffs. So I guess I would have to say the teams with the best shots are the Lightening, Bruins, Predators, Jets, and I can never count out the Penguins (just threw up in my mouth).
I havent seen much of Vegas this year but man that sure would be a cool story if they could pull that off.
leaves.

Washington seemed in control most of the game vs Columbus, they seemed to get to the loose pucks first , yet somehow in overtyme # 9 for Columbus went backhand, to forehand and just snapped the puck right over the goalies shoulder really nice goal.
good thing for the Capitals its a best of seven series
Sharks up 2-0 heading into tonight & they usually have trouble with the Ducks
Golden Knights up 3-0 on the Kings - they're amazing
They sure have the fever in Las Vegas, If the Golden Knights have a game 5 back in T-mobile one ticket starting at $$$190.00
who needs a zamboni ?????

I 'd give number 27 a fore-check..
Holy crap! What an ASS-WHIPPING by the Sharks last night! 8-1!
Brined & Deep-Fried those Ducks - Ain't won anything yet...Still got one more to go.
You can get the brooms out tonight for the Sharks, if the Ducks commit 10 silly penalties like they did in game 3
Ducks played a LOT better - but still couldn't handle the Sharks. SWEEP!
Moving on! Sharks vs. G-Spots....
Time to strap-on the helmets & get dirty!
Sharks vs G-spots..... gonna be a DOOZY
a lot more speeeeeeeeed on the ice than either team saw in round 1....
I can only imagine how storied franchises like Montreal, Deeeeeeeeeeetroit and Edmonton must be feeling with the success Vegas is having , while perusing the the world wide web I came across this little nugget, a look at expansion / charter teams only a few have found early success.....one Milwaukee Bucks, OK their first season was not all that dazzling 27-55 in 1968-1969, but then the Bucks drafted Lew Alcindor in 70-71 the Bucks went on to win the NBA title by SWEEEEEEPING the Baltimore Bullets. Oscar Robertson was not to bad for Milwaukee either....
good timing. Washington scores in another overtime game to win 4-3 and go up 3 game to 2 over Columbus. game 6 Monday in Ohio
A L S O
Tampa Bay beats New Jersey 3-1 to win series 4 games to 1 and advance to round deuce.
That Columbus / Washington series has been some fun hockey to watch. Both teams battling hard!

good luck on the ratings Thursday against the NFL draft.
I'm going to be AT the NFL Draft & streaming the Sharks game.
There are people who aren't football fans.
A lot of them root for Minnesota.

I like your style Boris, that's pretty good multitasking .
He probably should have skipped the streaming.
that's pretty good FEDYA
from what I read this morning, Vegas had 3 in the back of the net in the first 6 minutes of the game.
Oh yeah?!?!
We're all tied up boys & girls.
Vegas has now been shutout for the first time in the playoffs in their history.
Whatta great series
And you thought the NHL playoffs were tough
Two teams of 16-year-olds, from Slovakia and Russia, get in a huge fight at a youth tournament in Belarus. There's video. And I was nice enough to provide the Google Translate link for you.
Sharks are out but what the hell. They gave it a helluva shot & Vegas is damn good.
I got my Vegas G-Spots hat on!

nice hat to have on Boris
so the expansion team goes to the cup finals in their very first year
plenty of rest for the Vegas team, 8 days before San Jose in round two,
and 5 days rest before Winnipeg, probably get another weeks rest now before they meet Tampa. for the cup....
talk about legal gambling, you could have bought Vegas at the beginning of the year for 500 - 1 odds that should have the boyz in the desert a little concerned.
game 6 Monday night 7 pm between
Tampa
@
Washington
Game 6 goes to WashLincoln - Who thinks they will blow it in Game 7?
I do - Caps have a history of chocking! I would like to see Caps vs. Vegas though. 2 brand new teams in the Cup Final
I'll throw in my two cents, which is all its worth having seen only one WashLincoln / Tampa game......it seemed the Caps are a bigger team and doesn't mind the contact any where on the ice, where Tampa looks smaller but faster....
swami says speed kills
one goal , one fight, Alex Ovechkin scores one minute into game.
Threw one period
Wash 1
Tampa 0
Looking good for Redskins fans, half way through 2nd period Andre Burakovsky unassisted wrist shot
Caps 2
Tampa 0
Another goal for Burakovsky stick a fork in those Tampa sukkerz
thru 2 periods
Caps 3
Tampa zilch
We will have a NEW FIRST TIME STANLEY CUP CHAMPION!!!
I'm glad Ovi is finally in the cup but I'm wearing my Vegas hat & pulling for the G-Spots all series long.
If Fleury keeps playing the same way he did vs. the Jets, I don't see how the Caps are going to win.
I got Vegas in 6. I'm usually wrong.
just about ready to get started 7pm nbc
