Pages 5 and 6 of this thread! Ah ha ha ha ha!!!!
😂
All I can say is Thank God the 49ers had to play their 2nd string offense because their first string would have a legitimate chance to score 35 to 45 points easily on our defense right now the way they are struggling.
Happy we won, almost more relieved than happy. Let’s hope we get healthier in the next 10 days.
Packers were missing 11 contributors:
2 starting CB (King, Jaire)
2 starting MLB (Kirksey, Harris)
1 starting LT (Bahk)
1 swing tackle (Wagner)
1 starting RG ( Taylor )
1 starting WR (Lazard)
1 utility RB ( Williams)
1 backup HB ( Dillon )
Not a peep from the media about this.
It's like the media is biased about certain things!
@SteveLuke posted:Big credit goes to the Offensive Line and the OC coach.
Taylor down for the season in game 1.
Bakh out the last 3 games.
Wagner out tonight.
Musical chairs Turner from RG to RT to LT and Jenkins from LG to RT.
And Runyan coming on in relief in 2 victories (MInny & SF).
Not enough credit goes to that group.
The OL has held up well, but a superstar QB can make up for a lot of problems. The Packers are 6-2 and the way the offense has played they should be 7-1 with the only dud coming against the Bucs.
They've done this despite missing 3 of their best 4 offensive players (and arguably 4 of their top 7) for multiple games during that stretch. How many teams could lose the best WR in football, a top 5 RB, the best LT in football, and their #2 WR for a combined 12 games or so and be 6-2?
If Rodgers went down, things would look a lot different.
