They ( FOX ) showed a replayed where a DB held Lazard and then committed pass interference and in that same replay, Adams was being held right next to him. They also showed another replay where Adams shook a TB linebacker and he held him with his arm over the middle of the field in the end zone.

I'm not totally buying that. They had opportunities to win, despite how TB played.
Come on, Rodgers deserves his share for not running on that third down. He could have scored or come so close that going for it on fourth down is a no-brainer.
I'm sure AR had TBs speed in mind when he decided not to run it.
@FLPACKER posted:Question .... having Bak & a healthy Bulaga win this game ?
no....
I remember Eleway flipping head over heels into the end zone.
@MichiganPacker2 posted:I don't think he makes it. He's 12 yards away and once he crosses the 8 TB has 3 guys that only have to run from near the goal line to stop him.
Yes, but if not he gets close enough to make it more likely that LaFleur goes for it on 4th down
Our O skill players let us down on the last couple possessions. A catch in the end zone or Rodgers could have run for a TD but, but no. Glad there was a season. Pettine status?

I think they really wanted to set up the Brady-Mahomes matchup. They were going to clear Mahomes this week unless he was actively drooling. TB committed so many leading-with-the-helmet hits it wasn't funny. But you're not going to get those calls, so there's no use griping about it. You could see it coming...
Losses are much easier to take when the team doesn't beat themselves.
An absolutely brutal missed opportunity by the Packers.
@MichiganPacker2 posted:MLF may have set in motion the dominoes that will end his career in GB tonight. He's been great overall, but you just don't take the ball out of your best players hands on 4th and 8 to kick a FG when you still have to score a TD to win even with the FG.
The hangover from something like this lasts a long time. MM got to another title game after the Seattle game, but it was never the same.
I must reluctantly agree. This one hurts bad. Chance to exorcise demons, HFA, playing your best football in the run-up to playoffs. There's a lot of blame to go around, but MLF played the wrong side of the points game every chance he got. They chased that 2 pts right over the cliff. And leaned on their defense just to keep it a game. I know I'm emotional right now, but this loss may create more demons that we can't really observe in this moment. Two straight years they battled their ass off, two straight years they come up short. That ain't gonna hack it against a guy like Brady. This is a vg team with obvious holes to fill. Same thing we were saying this time a year ago.
@Grave Digger posted:Because Rodgers had shit his pants on three throws in a row and surprisingly the defense is the one that kept us in the game? Lean on whatβs working.
I didnβt have an issue with the call either.
How come no one ever notices our line holding?
The reason I'm so negative is having lived through MS and MM. This kind of thing was always the case. I got suckered into believing again. But it's always good to win the division. I'm sorry that AR12 is now the only guy with 4 straight NFCC game losses. He deserves better.
@The Crusher posted:Even though they were letting them play, King's PI was so blatant they had to call it.
Then they need to call the o e in the first half that literally pulled his shoulder pad and pulled him back. That was as obvious don't you think?

Hey, they tried their best to fill those holes
If Iβm Rodgers so I pull an anti Giannis and ask for a trade? I mean, I donβt know what else he can do at this point. It was all there in front of them and to lose a game like that where:
1) you basically give up a Hail Mary before half because our idiot DC and King got smoked. But King was awful the entire game
2) Sullivan got abused the entire game. Yet Pettine didnβt adjust. Good thing they signed Tramon Williams.
3) the FG attempt took the ball out of his hands. Win or lose with your guy 12?
@Packy posted:Our O skill players let us down on the last couple possessions. A catch in the end zone or Rodgers could have run for a TD but, but no. Glad there was a season. Pettine status?
Pettine is gone. I don't think MLF can stand him. I think he's out even if they had gone to the Superb Owl. Did Snacks even see the field? Did Tramon? I can maybe see not playing Tramon (this is probably it for him and he's probably happy it ends in GB), but why bring Snacks in, watch him make a couple of nice plays, and then not make him part of your rotation?

And he wasted quite a few plays that put them behind the chains. Cannot do that against this defense. His o line sucked today too.
Depends on the camera angle but it looked like AR could have made it.

There's an argument that 4th and 8 is better for GB than 4th and 2. They aren't going to run it and the spacing is much better. I don't think the 5-6 yards means much in that situation.
You may be right
Ketchman had said earlier this season if they don't win the SB or even get to it, considering the Love situation, they should blow it all up.

Respectfully disagree. I rewound the game and and once he steps up and gets past the rush at the 10 yard line, he has a clear path to the pylon. MVS is looking back and would just have to shield his CB. Two guys are flowing with Lazard in the opposite direction. The only way he doesn't make it is if a DL catches him from behind - AR12 was about 3 yards in front of him at the time. I'll take Rodgers in that foot race.

2 plays after Redmond dropped a pick.
We will never know, we do know that the pass didn't work.
Fun season. It was a good diversion from the Rona. Curious how some of you dip shits handle any adversity in your lives. Some of your dumb fucks were waving the white flag by half time.
I just hope you are better and more positive parents and spouses in the real world.
...also on this play, Adams gets held. Should have been a 5-yard penalty.
The Packers probably deserved to lose, but the inconsistent officiating is killing the game.
@Henry posted:Mayo chased the points when he didn't need to then he kicked a fucking FG with the Superbowl on the line.
That's the story.
Mayo reached the NFC championship game his first two years as a head coach. Yes, he had A-Rog, but so did MM.
Ideal day, no. It sucks. But let MLF go and watch the battles to get him
And who do you bring in that's better?
I forgot who posted it but if not for the Gregg Williams debacle then the Pettine call and King execution takes the cake for the worst defensive decision of the year.

I think there were more than a few PI's that weren't called. All eyes were on the King play because of the magnitude of it being do or die. Pulling a guy's jersey off at that point of the game is going to be called everytime.

And the lack of running game makes it even harder. Do we still pay AJ after he shit the bed today? He might be the worst disappointment in such a clusterf*** of a game.

How was your trip to the Capitol?
You could make a case the refs let them play - so itβs up to them to adjust. But itβs just such bullshit. You call ticky tack calls during the season and they swallowed their whistles today. The King penalty was obvious but so were about 5-6 other non calls. It was a classic way to end for King anyway. He let Sullivan off the hook for having a brutal game.

Itβs a fucking game. Some of you fuckers lose your shit so easy over it but hey - carry-on. You do you
Apparently not.

I was yelling run for it and the replay looked like he would have had a great chance. Pump and run.
