This BUF KC game is gonna be fuuuuuun.
Hey guys, almost hate to put this here, but...
Despite all, it's been a fun season. I normally lurk, and am not sure who is brave enough to run this madhouse now. Could someone PM me their contact info so I can PayPal a donation to keep the site going?
It was a good call, it was inconsistent with the way they had called the game that point though. By that I mean Tampa had been mugging receivers like Mel Blount way past 5 yards and no call. King tugged because he got beat and is just an average CB and ultimately its his fault. How do you call it this point in a game where youβve never called it? Absolutely trash.
@artis posted:And he wasted quite a few plays that put them behind the chains. Cannot do that against this defense. His o line sucked today too.
He was running for his life most of the day and put up a game where he went 333 for 48 with 346 yards, 3 TDs, and 1 interception (where his WR was clearly held). The Packers had no running game whatsoever and played the second half without 2 of the other top 3 players on their offense during the year (Bakh and A. Jones).
If MLF gives him a shot and he ties the game with 2 minutes left, this would have been one of Rodgers' greatest games given the circumstances.
Has a QB ever thrown three ints in a conference championship and still gone to the SB?
F Brady.

Oh now you want to let people live, a few minutes ago you werenβt sure how people function in their daily lives with adversity because they were salty on the internet.
Mistakes just kill you
KC returner Hardman fumbles at the 5 and one play Buffalo score. Almost identical to the Jones fumble and return to within the 10 and one play score by TB. Jones has been so good all year and today was a nightmare game for him.
I did the JFK back and to the left review of the TD right before half and there are multiple layers of ineptitude going on there. They call the TO and looks like some confusion then quick snap and Brady lobs it out there and King is beat by 10 yards and Redmond is in fucking la la land in the middle of the field. Itβs amazing how bad of a play that was for the Packers. Actually, it might be worse than 4th and 26 or the Terrell Owens TD to beat the Packers.
Has a QB ever thrown 3 INTs in a playoff game and moved on? What about Seattle against us? Could be mistaken I thought Russ had 4.
@Iowacheese posted:Fun season. It was a good diversion from the Rona. Curious how some of you dip shits handle any adversity in your lives. Some of your dumb fucks were waving the white flag by half time.
I just hope you are better and more positive parents and spouses in the real world.
Guilty as charged. One reason was that I saw how the officials were calling it.
My friends and family consider me a positive person. But I go all Jekyll and Hyde when the game is on.
I salute anyone that is going back and watching that game.

Petine will play it for the team next January

Gee, why don't I trust this ???π
I actually thought the officiating was pretty good. They let them play on both sides which is how I prefer it. I can't stand a flag-fest. And I was pissed at that King PI until I saw the replay. That jersey was stretched a full 18 inches. Refs have to call that.
I agree that letting them play is better than a flag fest, but call the game consistent. It was nothing worse than what they did to our guys on the last drive.
Then they need to call them all. Too many blatant ones not called all game.
There were several more egregious than the king one they let slide. If you are going to swallow your whistle in the 1st quarter, swallow it with a minute left.
On the 3rd and goal where Rodgers could have run it Adams was held by #45 and the switched off onto Lazard. Just as blatant of a hold as King.
Aaron Rodgers was 2-of-9 with 2 TD passing in goal-to-go situations Sunday. The 7 incompletions in goal-to-go situations are most in his career. He was 1-of-6 targeting Davante Adams in goal-to-go. He was 17-of-19 targeting Adams in goal-to-go this season entering the day.

Red zone struggles that were largely absent all year really hurt.
When you can hold the WR it makes a bit easier to defend them.
Should of run the ball at least once with Dillion.

We ran the ball all year, but were afraid to do so against Tampa.

Aaron Rodgers was pressured 22 times Sunday, most in his career in a playoff game, per ESPN Stats & Info. He was blitzed 23 times, second-most in his playoff career. Shaquil Barrett had 7 pressures, matching his high with the Buccaneers. Rodgers went... https://es.pn/3oflEPK
I'm not saying he was garbage. The protection sucked, the running game was nonexistent, but there were still a handful of plays where Rodgers put them behind schedule. His numbers are vg, but I'd bet he looks at tape and kicks himself for some of the choices he made. You can't constantly be on the wrong end of down and distance against a defense like that. I'd much rather the ball in his hands down the stretch, but he should own a good portion of being unable to cash in today. Many players were disappointing today.

Why? We drafted him for 2022. This was his redshirt year.
Inexcusable defensive mistake to end the first half and turnover deep in our territory to begin the second half.
Fourteen point swing that really cost the team the game.
I wanted them to stick with the up-tempo as well and I'm not sure why they went back to the huddle offense.
They gave up on the run because they were getting almost nothing in the middle off C. That's not all on Bahk being out.
The numbers game was against us in the run game most of the day. Bucs would have 6 defenders vs. our 5 blockers. When we tried the 2 backfield look , motioning Jones out, their LBer didn't follow him like Rams did (leaving 5 on 5 blocking) Bucs LBers are so damn fast that they can stay in the box and still get to the perimeter on the pass. Their 2 LBers allow them to play like they do.

Yup, and our offense scoring 3 points in the 4th Quarter ...Crunch Time...doesnβt get it done.
the blueprint is out on how to beat the packers, just punch them in the face. they are too much finesse not enough pound. sf did it last year, tb had the kryptonite this year. that doesn't change, nothing else does.

We need speed at LB too. MVS already catches like a LB. Letβs move him.
I don't see it that way, we lost the game by giving them 14 pts (king play & fumble) and not scoring in the red zone.... nothing to do with toughness
@pkn BS. Though I agree with the premise, they had plenty opportunities to beat TB today. It wasn't their lack of physicality that cost them the game. Most of the mistakes looked mental.

Very disappointing considering how physical they were last week vs the Rams. They owned the trenches. Today they let TB defense dictate a lot. Not surprised AJ bowed out with injury after the shots he took on his fumbles. TB set a tone and GB couldn't match it.
Matt blamed himself and said βwhatβs done is doneβ.
In todays NFL speed wins games not physicality. Look at Kansas City.
I wonder how healthy Aaron Donald was last week to have our OL dominate him and the Rams DL like that. Looked like a totally different OL today. Not much push in the run game and below average in pass protection.
Let's be honest, we started Billy Turner and Ricky Wagner at tackle today. If I told you in training camp that we would have those two as our bookends in the NFCC, would you feel good? I wouldn't.
