So I read something this morning about OBJ picking the Rams over the Packers over money. His agent gave the Packers multiple chances to increase their offer and they passed.

Then later Jay Glazer reports that money wasn't the issue. OBJ's plan all along was to play for Rams no matter what the other offers were. So in the end the Packers were a pawn by a free agent to squeeze more money from another team. Same old same old...

Guess it worked (financially) for him.

Packers have had to start Yosh Nijman without David Bakhtiari or Elgton Jenkins 3 times this season. They beat the 49ers, Bengals and Steelers in those games, two of them on the road and all against very good fronts on potential playoff teams. This is not unfamiliar territory.

That's an oversimplification.  He's needed help from all the TEs and backs and those ranks are thinning too.  More missing parts and having to chip is going to limit the offense.

Not saying he'll collapse but making him sound like more than the backup he is is full homer.

@PackLandVA

I don't disagree but at the same time a lot of his help in those 3 games is also injured.  Maybe he's got more of a feel for it but he's essentially a 3rd stringer so it's not unrealistic for him to have a tough game against a top defense.  The offensive game plan is going to to have to be pretty innovative to cover for the holes.

Not Nijman's fault, he's done a decent job but he needs help.

It still ultimately got the job done, no?

There's also a tweet going around about his PFF ranking as a T (yes, I get that is not a bible of performance). He's much better then most believe. He's higher rated then multiple starting tackles including first round picks that he's outperforming.

And not unlike QB's like Big Ben, Phillip Rivers, Brady, Rodgers in this offense doesn't need to hang onto the ball forever. He can get rid it in under 2.5 seconds. That helps quite a bit no matter who the T is.

He's got the job done but with help.

Rams D.

Banged up team.  Lewis is a force but it also limits the offense.

Yes, without a doubt Rodgers needs to get the ball out in a hurry.
