If you decide not to kick the FG, why not just let the play clock run out? It was idiotic to then take the timeout. Just take the 5-yard penalty. The timeout is worth a lot more than the 5 yards (and taking a 5 yard penalty might have helped Bojorquez there by giving him more room).
Really poor coaching there by MLF. Shades of Paul Chryst yesterday.
