Big story on Donald before game in LATimes. He was determined to make up for poor game in playoffs last year. By that point in the game he was frustrated that it was deja vu all over again

Saw it last year in the playoff game, and the same today.

I was at the game and I thought I saw Donald take a swing at Patrick. On the way home, someone sent a video and posted it on Twitter that showed Donald clearly choking Patrick while the official was in sight.
Yeah, Donald should get suspended.
Thought the hit on Savage was clean. Part of the design of the play and not late. Savage needs to expect that so again, looks like a product of piss poor coaching.

I saw that clip too. The official was right there and kind of broke it up. I don't know how he doesn't throw a flag. I guess you get those calls when you're 99.

Patrick clearly played that up a little bit for the officials but that should have been a penalty.
Patrick is a brawler. He doesn't have all the talant in the world, but he just fights and brawls. (I would bet he also has a few tricks in the trenches where the ref can't see what's happening.) That brawler attitude and style of play is what drives Donald nuts. He's more used to guys giving him so much respect and trying to counteract his speed that a brawler like Patrick who is willing to engage first and push back and do whatever it takes to overcome his lack of talant gives Donald fits. The choke should have been penalized, no doubt. But it's a good sign that Patrick is living rent-free in Donald's head.
