Pure guess: 31 mil a year with 80 mil guaranteed. And waiting until after Cousins is signed makes sense for AR.
Pure guess. Something around $23- $24 million per. 6 years. Fully guaranteed.
I don't know if he's the first, but after 2017 everyone in the league knows who the REAL MVP is ---- and it isn't even CLOSE.
My guess: 5 years 7 years - $200 million

Oh oh!!! Now you've done it. The big ol bass are about to strike.
Anyone with even a rudimentary understanding of American football recognize Rodgers as the best.
Hell, 50 Irish drunks (that's redundant) can see that.

This is just a small sampling from what you'll find on the internet outside the reclusive hermit kingdom of Green Bay:
You post a graphic where Brady has 11 years ONLY under his belt???
Try getting into 2018.

Hell, almost all of the lists have Favre in the top 10, but no Rodgers.
Just as predicted, the big ol bass can't resist. They know they shouldn't bite but they do. God forbid if they ever spawn.
I've also read that ARod and his agent(s) are waiting to see what kind of deal Cousins gets signed for. Why would anyone pay Cousins the kind of money ARod deserves?

Hopefully the Queens will....they are dumb enough...
Rodgers, through 2017, is:
10th all time in passing TDs and 20th in yards - everyone ahead of him played nearly 2x as many games. These are longevity stats and it he plays 17-20 years, he'll finish top 5 in both based on his 10 year average as a starter.
Some other stats to consider:
1st in passer rating
1st in TD:Int
t-5th in yards per attempt
All of these show efficiency and consistency, not related to longevity.

They are a reflection of their fan base!
jesus f***q. If someone tried to tell you ice cream isn't cold, do you try to convince them that is it is or do you toss them some pocket change, avoid eye contact and walk away?
I really hate even discussing these contracts......I wish heâd just say how much is to much, and how much do I really need? The salaries are just really sickening, and I hate to say that. When are millions to hundreds of millions to much??
It is already too much but the market is bearing it, the question is when does it end?
Why should it "end"?

This is the most intellectually dishonest and poorly conceived graph I've ever seen.
These "ranks" that he uses to then calculate an average? Notice how NO ONE is less than 10th? That's because these aren't ranking vs every other QB to ever play in the NFL. This moronic author picked 10 guys, and then compared these numbers vs the others in that 10.
I MEAN JESUS TAPDANCING CHRIST ON A CRACKER.
This isn't some mathematical formula and these 10 rose to the list. He picked 10 guys and then sorted those 10 based on some relevant stats and some insanely stupid things.
Anyone that uses this graph for more than a joke to mock endlessly must A) Be brain dead, B) Not understand a lick of football, C) Be a Viking fan, or D) All of the above.
I mean its so stupid, that there's no point in asking questions like
"wait, Brady played 14 seasons to get to 359 TDs, why does it say 11?"
"Brady most certainly does not and never has held the best TD/INT ratio, how is he ranked #1?"
"why would anyone use raw numbers for number of INTs thrown to rate, wouldn't people with brains use INT% to account for the fact that ERAs changed and people threw less early?"
"No one with any brains thinks 4th Q comebacks is a relevant stat, why is it here?"
"what the difference between 4Q comebacks and Game Winning Drives?"
"Pro Bowls? Really? Pro Bowls?"
I'm going with D
Trust in Gute. Doesnât quite have the same impact as ROTTT but Iâm confident Gopher Jr. will get r done with Rodgers.
âWaiting to see what Cousins doesâ = âpay 12 a **** ton of moneyâ
By the way, I read that QB graph or comparison or whatever the **** it is and I felt the same effect as hitting some kind bud. Uffda

I'm sure you think a lot of obscene thoughts about Aaron Rodgers, Goldie.
Look at the spazzing going on here.
And not one of you produced anything to back up the claim that Rodgers is the greatest of all time.

Who said all time? As for players currently in the NFL and specifically in regards to his contract, it's not even a question you inert fart bubble. Rodgers career isn't over yet either.
Do you honestly think Rodgers isn't the best player in the NFL? Are you such a homer dolt that you can't see that? Again, all questions posed to you are rhetorical. I felt a slight moment of charity in explaining that for you you indeterminate cyst.

Hungry5 did.
I put Brady above Rodgers as far as QB's still playing.
Great adjectives!
Brady, Eli, and Ben are all active QBs âmore accomplishedâ than Rodgers.
Ellie Mae?

Here we go. The stoopid runs deep in this thread.
You tell me how many GMs would select Eli over Rodgers. You wouldnât be a GM for long if you actually admitted to it.

Take it to Boris. Heâs the one who thinks Terry Bradshaw was an amazing QB. Iâm just following his thought process...Current QBs:
Brady>Big Ben>Eli>bunch of other guys.
Here comes the feels....
I said it earlier in the thread, Bradshaw wouldn't be in my top 20 of best throwers of the ball. But you cannot deny the fact he has 4 Super Bowls. I deal in facts & reality.
If Rodgers was available, what would the Jets or Cleveland pay him?? (Using these 2 teams as they currently have the most cap space)
What would either of them pay -->> Brady>Big Ben>Eli>bunch of other guys. <<---
And you canât deny the fact that Brady has won 5x as many SBs as Rodgers, and Ben and Eli 2x.....
Facts and reality.

Take it up with him. Sentient POS, Why don't you just bottom line it for me when it comes to Rodgers. Tee that ****er up.

Yep. What's the common denominator (other than Belichek)? Defenses. I'm not going to say Ben and Eli Dilfered it to SuperBowls because they didn't but the supporting cast was always there. Brady? Yeah, Belichek.
And since this is a thread about Rodgers contract and the reason why he can name his ****ing price is he actually made a horse**** defensive scheme look manageable as they rolled into the playoffs/championship game year after year.
Then there's this thing called "watching the guy play". Just like Ben gutting out big plays when the offense needed it. Or Eli doing whatever the hell it was he'd pull out of his ass at any time. Or Brady executing Belichek's offense efficiently. You nod and acknowledge it.
If you can't see the unicorn type magic that Rodgers pulls off with limited supporting cast on the other side of the ball then, well, you are who you are. That's why Rodgers, in a thread about Rodger's contract, can name his price as the best QB in the NFL.
