We'll see how much he wants to win with how he negotiates later this year/early 2022.

GB, regardless of what he may want, is still the best option for him in 2022 and beyond.

Agreed.  I think AR has turned the corner a bit with this.  The FO went out and got Cobb for him.  They've also been active with signing veteran players to the team which AR has made a point to mention he likes.  At this moment, I think AR is more likely to remain in GB than to leave it.

Packers travel well.

I kept wondering why did Hill take the ball out of the EZ when he was 5 yards deep? Wish he wouldn't have done that,

Hopefully Tonyan isn't serious. Non-Contact injury

Agreed.  And it sounds like that decision by Hill could affect his career going forward if he’s out for the year.  I feel bad for the guy, I’m sure he regrets it more than anyone.

Gee who would have ever thought that instead of willfully ignoring veteran NFL talent you could add a Cobb, a Bojorquez, a Mercilus, and a Rasul Douglas right before and throughout the season and not have to exclusively rely upon homegrown underachieving draft picks and UDFAs?

It is almost like somebody in the FRONT OFFICE finally started paying attention to what the Patriots did while winning SBs with Brady and what TB did last season.

PFF rated Mercilus the top defender and Douglas the third best defender for the Pack last night.

Kudos to Gute/the FRONT OFFICE for these stellar acquisitions, and yes Gute has been far more willing to make such moves since he took over as GM than Ted was.

We all know that with Ted in control that would have been Shemar Jean-Charles  at CB and La'Darius Hamilton at OLB instead of Douglas and Mercilus.

Trade deadline is Tuesday. Not too late for the Pack to add more talent.

PS To bad ARod did not make a point about the FRONT OFFICE'S refusal to add veteran talent long ago.

It's almost as if they needed some kind of motivation.

Really big - : In my enthusiasm over the Packer win I decided to watch some ESPN to hear what they had to say and I watched 5 minutes of First Take. The constant screaming. The inane comments. The self promotion.
I think I lost 2 months off my life and 20 points off my IQ.

Yup. Will Packer, the Bucs homer, said, “the Bucs are the best team in the NFC. Name another team with just one loss that has had as many injuries as Tampa.”

Uh, the team that beat the Cardinals last night, idiot. Both starting CB. Our best two outside linebackers (Preston was active, but I don’t remember his playing). Our best two OL (Jenkins wax active, but played no snaps), in addition to our second round pick Josh Meyers, who is now on the IR. And our top three receivers, and our #1 TE went down.

Jaire has missed 4 games.

David Bakhtiari has missed 8.

Jenkins has missed 4.

Za’Darius has missed 7.

That’s 23 games missed by 4 Pro Bowl starters, the equivalent of three full seasons, to date.

MVS has missed 5 games. King has missed 4. Preston Smith 2.

Our damned defensive coordinator was out due to COVID protocols.

The amount of people we had missing is just getting glossed over, and it’s ridiculous.

+ win, 12,33,28,18 hell the whole thing

+ the number of packer fans at that game, go pack go...ridiculous that happens in a different stadium

- injuries again...and fumbles - 28 better get a grip on it.

- 81 seemed totally lost at times when 85 got hurt...same with 88 and 8 - I get it they are typical non-starters, but next man up...

88 had never played an NFL snap before. He's gets some leeway.

Amari Rodgers is a rookie. He's been disappointing and doesn't get as much of a pass, but let's see what he's like in a year.

DeGuara, while hurt, was still around the team all last year. He's had two training camps. No excuses for him not to know where to lineup. None.
