too bad! it's gonna' be in the mid to upper 60's for a few days next week..guess a cool front will come through to ruin things. I wanted nice weather for all of the visitors.
after watching the forcast again the high 60's/perhaps 70 will be at the end of this week...not next week.

temps are taken in the shade so 53 in the sun w/no wind is ok...but 53 degrees in the shade or w/clouds and wind is too chilly for me.

my boyfriend Don wears shorts and a t-shirt yearound, even if the morning low is 14 degrees.

yes Don! He moved into my house 3 years ago. We worked together in the Graduate Deans Office at UTA...back in the 90's.

He moved here from Calif and was a 49ers fan for years but is now a big cowboys's fan. Smiler

yes, and the NFL is not going to open the roof, even if the weather is nice.

Then they'd better not do the fireworks crap like they did when we
played the Patriots in New Orleans! That was ridiculous. You could
see Reggie and the boys struggling to get a breath of fresh air with all
the smoke that hovering over them.

Yeah, I remember wondering if the upper tier could even see the game!

Possible Hostage Situation At Texas Hospital

A possible hostage situation is underway at a Fort Worth hospital, just miles from Cowboys Stadium, where a suspicious package was found just before 10 a.m. CST.
I mean this in the nicest tone possible, but everyone needs to STFU with their trash talk regarding the location of the SB. Every damn thread that's dealt with where the game is being played has wound up locked, and this one is about to keep that streak intact. There has actually been some useful info shared on these threads amidst all the monkey poop, so knock it off.
I'm glad it was nothing more than trash. Guess the guy who put it in there just wanted to get something started...kinda' like a fire bug...who stands by and watches or goes home to watch it on TV.
