There's plenty of people who work together that don't see eye to eye.  Yet they're professional enough and mature enough to still accomplish a mission.

For instance....Shanny and RG 111

Way to cherry pick.  Completely invalidates what I said.

I can do the same:  Favre and Holmgren (SB), McMahon and Ditka (SB).

I am just reporting you what I heard and it was on ESPN.   If I say who it was, then all you haters will trash it.  So take it the way you want.

And if you noticed during the ATL game the camera caught Rodgers with a disgusted look on his face and grumbling and shaking his head as he turned away from the field and walked over to the bench continually shaking his head.

I think it was just before the Packers scored their last FG.

Then a caller phoned in on the Post-Game show and said that Jason Wilde had mentioned there is some angst among folks going on along the sidelines.

I am just telling you all what I heard.

Hey, I like MM and like AR.  I don't like to hear that stuff either.   Guess we'll see what happens.

I'm going to infer that Bayless said it? If so, then yes, we "haters" will trash it because he's the most blatant yellow journalist sports reporter/commentator of all time, possibly. I've never seen anyone as shameless as he at attempting to fan flames.

If my assumption is wrong, perhaps you can sack up and just say who said it.

JJSD wins the door prize.

But it was Colin Cowherd.  He spent about 2 minutes discussing it.  It was in context of super-stars who may not always get along with their HC.  Most of the time, the superstars stays and the HC goes.  So it just wasn't some side banter remark.

He didn't make it sound like there is terrible situation between these two.  Much is competitive ego.  The point of his comments was that if things don't get better in Green Bay next year, who is Ted Thompson gonna keep around?

Here is another reason why I started this topic.  McCarthy may not be on the hot seat and nor should he be this season.  But if the team struggles next year are we now seeing the beginning of his end in GB.  I like McCarthy a lot (although I feel he should hire an OC for the team) and I think he epitomizes Packer football.  But at some point in the future...

The caller was very confused. Wilde simply referenced a tweet from Chuck Todd of NBC who said the Packer problem was located on the sideline, likely expressing his displeasure with the coaching staff.

As far as AR goes, he's an extremely competitive guy and any frustration he may express is normal and not indicative in the least of a problem.

Correct. That is what I heard as well.

I was disgusted too at the way we played in Detroit but I didn't have a clipboard to throw. And if Flynn is not throwing to guys who are wide open, I'd be pretty disgusted I couldn't be out there doing the job knowing how I could do it, and I bet AR is feeling some of that frustration. It's like a Mazerati waiting for repairs in the pit area while an Oldsmobile is racing in your place.

Anyway, if AR totally hates MM then why would AR sign that big extension when there's been no indication of MM going anywhere? If their working relationship was that bad, he'd have let his contract expire and would get out of GB.

They're both competitive guys with extremely high standards and that will cause friction at times. Ask Brady if he's never disagreed with Billy B. or Brees if he's ever not agreed with Payton. It's going to happen and as long as MM and AR respect each other, it will all work out okay.
