Of course, as expected, there is drama surrounding this "I haven't made up my mind yet."

Why do I get the feeling it's going to be Tim McGraw or Terry Bradshaw, who in the history of Bert's Ballwashers, is the lead dog?

From a footballing perspective it has to be either Ron or Holmy.

Since family members can induct I wouldn't be surprised if it's Deanna. Lord knows all the **** she had to endure over the years being married to that drunken, pill-popping, dickpic-ing philanderer.

Her Lady MacBeth act wore thin awfully fast with Bert's attempts to storm Fort McCarthy in 2008 and the subsequent moves to Jersey and Minny. But there's no question she decided to keep that family together, come hell or high water, and she deserves credit for that.

If it was me picking it would be Holmgren. Ron pulled the trigger but Mike broke the wild stallion.

'Here to introduce Brett, something that both complimented him and set him apart from the crowd.  Brett has been many things to many people, but with today's presenter, an image will be conjured that is unmistakably Bret Favre."

Desmond Howard. Without him Bert may never have won a Superb Owl.

I'll never forget how Howard screwed up the second-half kickoff in the Divisional game against San Francisco because he was back in the locker room putting on a clean uniform.

"Do I think God should do my induction speech? Maybe. But that's not my decision. I do know it'd be cool. Do I want it to come across like I'm the chosen one? I don't think I do. That's not for me to answer.  I do know the guy that invented Vicodin is retired and probably can't make it though"

Although I think it should be the recipient of his weasel pictures, I hope it is Holmgren.  He is on a local radio show up here in Seasuck land and he is articulate, funny and able to communicate.

Ted's induction speech:

"Did I tell Brett to **** off? Maybe. I do know Mike wanted to trade Brett to the Winnepeg Blue Bombers for a sandpaper handjob. Did Jen Sturger get airtime because of it? That wasn't up to me. Did Deana appreciate Jen's rack? I think she did. Did Brett fail as a Viking? That's like asking if the sun sets. Ladies and gentlemen. I proudly present the third best QB in Green Bay Packer history and my singular best decision. Brett Favre"!!!!!!!

Great player who provided many great moments in Packer history.

Also a petty, back-stabbing,selfish, ego-maniacal, interception machine, philandering, *****-pic texting pervert.....I'll pass on celebrating him. Please feel free to applaud your hero the rest of you.

Trent Dilfer won one Super Bowl too. Thanks Brent.

He doesn't possess 1% of Bart Starr's class

May I please cut and paste that at the Journal site......please?

I picked up on hockey in the 70's with regional coverage that focused on the Espisito brothers and guys like Potvin and Bouchard. I loved it.

Then this kid named Gretzky showed up in Edmonton in 1979 and everything changed. There was an exchange with Wayne and reporters early in his career about how he scored a goal over a shoulder when he said he needed to turn the puck on edge and slip it like a coin through a slot.

He owns 40 scoring records. 30 that will never, ever, ever be broken. I mean ever. Some of his records are almost incomprehensible.

You never hear from Wayne Gretzky. Ever. Not a word. He runs a team but it's never about him.

His last game as a player in NY as a Ranger:

"My last game in New York was my greatest day in hockey...Everything you enjoy about the sport of hockey as a kid, driving to practice with mom  and dad, driving to the game with mom and dad, looking in the stands and seeing your mom and dad and your friends, that all came together in that last game in New York"

To me he's the gold medal standard of great and understanding he's not greater than his trade. He's just a part of the story. And he's perfectly fine with it

I don't think Brett gets it. Maybe he did early. That's what let him be great. Then he bought into Brett Favre.

I heard that Brett Favre believes that Micah Hyde is a racist. Shameful if true.
