The officials completely set the tone for this game to start. Basically established that Durant is unguardable tonight.

They thought that Middleton was the weak link- and now they know it. They know what the Bucks are going to do before they do it, because they’re smarter.

Bucks are being played even up by the Nets with Durant and Irving sitting.
The body language at this point looks like the Bucks have almost conceded the Nets are the better team.
The Bucks are more likely to be behind 30 at the half than within single digits.

This execution tonight makes Bud's Miami 2020 playoff series look like a coaching clinic. None of this makes any sense.

A zone against a team with Durant, Irving, and Joe Harris? A zone? That's almost up there with Jason Kidd telling guys to miss FTs up 3 at the end of the game so that they couldn't give up a 4 point play.
I fully admit that I had forgotten just how great Irving and Durant could be when at their best and tonight they both brought their A games. The rest of that team fed off those 2 and it’s just a complete embarrassment for the Bucks.

Giannis, Holiday, and Tucker are guys that individually are some of the best defensive players in the league. Middleton is not a liability on defense. And you act like your team is filled with an entire roster of Bryn Forbes that you have to hide in a zone?
