Might as well start this now. Giannis questionable with an ankle sprain.
This could get even uglier.

If he would announce he's signing the SuperMax with the Bucks, you sit him and don't risk a long-term injury. They are not winning 4 in a row and even they know it. Why risk a quarter of a billion dollars if you are Giannis and the next 5 years of title contention if you are the Bucks by risking a 2019 Durant-like serious injury?
But I think he's gone and I think at least some of the dysfunction we've seen in the bubble is that I think some of his teammates think he's gone as well (fair or not). There is way too much smoke with all these trade rumors for there not to be some fire with it. I would love to eat crow on that, but he's got the Mike Holmgren/1998 or Lebron/2010 Cavs vibe to him. How would you like to play next to Giannis when the entire NBA media is saying he needs better teammates to win during a series where his subpar play on the offensive end is the biggest reason you are losing. It's not like Giannis is pouring in 35 and is not allowed to shoot at will outside of 5 feet.
I think a lot of stuff will hit right after they are eliminated, just like the ESPN story dropped right after the buzzer in Game 6 against the Raptors last year. Giannis will probably claim that the fact they weren't willing to go into the luxury tax to keep Brogdon shows they didn't do all they could to win. He could have done a lot more to squelch the talk during the year, but he didn't claiming it was "disrespectful to him teammates" to talk about it. How about just saying that he didn't see any circumstance where he wouldn't sign the extension if it was offered. That would have stopped all this distraction. It was telling that he didn't.
Because of that, play him.
Already down 10-2.
The luggage may already be packed and ready to go.
Miami has outscored them 50-15 in the last 16 minutes of playing time
Giannis gets another tap foul. It doesn't matter at this point down 3-0, but he just does not get the LeBron/Harden type calls.
Travel?
Giannis 4 for 6 to start
Rest of the team is 1-10
The Bucks have missed their last 17 3 point attempts.
Their last make was 27 minutes of game time ago with about 5 minutes remaining in the third quarter of Game 3.
Giannis asks out and the Heat are now up 22-11.
Jeff Van Gundy basically saying the Bucks are playing like they've given up.
This is a pathetic showing when you're facing elimination.
Keystone kopish
Hill throws an uncontested pass off of Lopez' head headed downcourt. Classic.
Giannis 6 for 8 from the field.
The rest of the starters are 1-10.
I know this got deleted for some reason on the other thread, but itâs just the truth: the Bucks are not a focused team. Thereâs nothing indicating that they can downshift and get to the level needed. Championships are won by teams with steeled determination and laser focus. Thatâs how a 15-1 juggernaut fumbled the ball 4 times and loses to a Wild Card team. Itâs how the team with the best record in the game falls flat against an inferior but more determined opponent.
Th big fella is earning some money if he continues this play....the question is, from who

That 15-1 Packers juggernaut lost focus because Philbin's son drowned the week preceding the game. Hard not to lose focus in that situation.
No excuses for the Bucks. All NBA teams are in the same boat.
Looks bad
Non contact injuries usually end badly.
The Bucks were the team that boycotted their game 5 against Orlando. Their public statements clearly indicated they were not about basketball. Theyâve played like it ever since.
Heâs done... that didnât look good at all.
Shot time
Actually- heâs walking. Hurts like hell, but a little re-tape and he might be back...

The Raptors and Celtics were talking about boycotting their game the following day. They've not had problems playing with intensity.
The Bucks came out and blitzed the Heat in the first quarter of game one and were up 40-29. It wasn't the boycott. The Heat punched them back in the mouth and the Bucks wilted.
KM stepping up....not
Bledsoe finally plays within himself and looks decent.
George Hill with two bad turnovers.

And I say that, and he takes a contested step-back 3 pointer early in the shot clock.

Iâm not making excuses... itâs just the truth. The proof is their play.
Bucks actually built a lead...
Pat Connaughton is a playoff liability
Giannis out.
Interestingly, the offense was much better without him.
Yeah, but the defense wonât be.
Lets say that they win.....is he done for the rest of the series.
Bam is a pretty good all around player

Yes. I would think if he can't play now, he's not going to be ready in the next 6 days if it somehow got farther.
This is one of those games were the Bucks will try hard, the Heat's energy is way down after Giannis goes out, and then the Heat will take over again in the 4th.
Robin Lopez is inactive, so they don't really have another big guy to guard Adebayo. Interesting decision to make DJ Wilson active in game where you knew Giannis might be limited.
