Also happy for PJ Tucker.  Dude has worked his ass off for years and to finally be rewarded with a ring.  You can’t make that shit up.

Played in Isreal, Ukraine, Italy, and Germany before he got back to the NBA.

Happy that basically every guy that was part of the main 8-9 guys had memorable moments during the playoffs.

Jeff Teague is a shell of what he once was but he came up big in one of the final games vs the Hawks.

Bryn Forbes had some great performances vs. the Heat.  That series feels like it was played years ago the playoffs drag out for so long.

Connaugton had some good games.

Portis came up HUGE in this game 6 final game.

PJ Tucker is on the downside of his career but his defense and toughness was something badly needed.

Lopez, Jrue, Middleton, Giannis just gave everything they had in every game even though they didn’t always bring their A game.

Fantastic teamwork and I owe coach Bud an apology.  I had lost faith in Bud after the bubble last year, but he got these guys to give everything they had.  He took a lot of crap from people like me, but in the end, he proved he was the right guy for this team.

Hey James Harden, KD, Anthony Davis, and CP3- how did that taste?

Looking at the future, the Bucks have Giannis, Middleton, Lopez, Holiday, and DDV under contract the next 2 years.  Everyone other than Lopez they have under control the next 3 years.

Tucker is a free agent and Portis can opt out after this year but they also have Pat C and Forbes in place next season.

There is absolutely no reason that this team can’t be in the Finals the next couple of years or longer.  I’m not sure most other teams are set up that same way.

Having a healthy DDV absolutely makes a difference.  No way Booker has a series like he did if Dante is in there.  Tucker did very well this postseason, but DDV adds a different element on both ends of the court.

Somewhere this guy was smiling when he said it too. He also did it the right way.

Man what I wouldn't give to have Steph in Milwaukee.

Steph / Jrue / Middleton / Giannis / DDV?

Anybody at 5th spot. It wouldn't fuckin matter.

DDV back healthy, and let’s not forget that Jordan Nwora should get increased playing time next season. What he brings to the team as a sniper shouldn’t be overlooked. I like his offensive upside.

I just finished rewatching last night’s game. As soon as the final horn blew, Chris Paul was already pretty much in the hallway to the visiting team’s locker room.

What an ungracious little bitch. I’m glad he lost, and that he’s being labeled as one of if not the biggest choker in playoff history. Four times he’s been up 2 games to none in a 7 game series, only to blow it,

I love it. I love seeing James Harden getting his nuts roasted over his comments about Giannis. I love seeing King Flopper getting shade for not being able to win without going to a dream team in Miami.

This morning, anyway, life is good.

It's a great morning to be a Wisconsin sports fan.  Even though I haven't really watched much NBA in recent years I watched the last few minutes last night and I was cheering for them more than ever.

Lambeausouth,  I am one sports fan who VERY much enjoys seeing LeFlopper getting roasted.

Props to Durant for giving credit where credit is due.  I’m still not completely a fan of some of his passive aggressive BS, but I have a lot more respect for the guy and no one will ever accuse him of mailing it in or not playing hard.

As for Harden and Paul, well, karma is a bitch.  I hope they never win a title.  They might be supremely talented players, but I can’t think of two more annoying and unlikable players.  Perhaps Kyrie, but he’s in a class all by himself.

We need more Steph Curry or Giannis type players.

It was a dad joke I said to my wife last night while I was watching the post game celebration. She rolled her eyes and added it to her never ending list of "Reasons I regret marrying this dingdong"

I would not be surprised if many people made gyro/hero jokes on line

Giannis going to Chick-Fil-A and ordering 50 nuggets… not 51, not 49… that might be the best thing ever. Dude is living his best life in the most innocent way… the NBA doesn’t deserve this kid. He’s a quarter-billionaire but he’s at a Chick-fil-A drive through. Grounded…

The more I think about last night the more the best comparison to what Giannis did last night is that it's what Wilt Chamberlain would have done had he been a good FT shooter. Or maybe Hakeem had he also brought the ball up the floor.

His offense was extraordinary, but his defense might have been even better. I'm too young to have ever seen Bill Russell play, but that's what it seemed like how Russell played defense. He guarded every guy on the floor and shut them almost all down (Cam Payne actually gave him the most problems). He challenged at the rim, on three-point closeouts, on drives to the basket. He was so far into Ayton's head Ayton wouldn't even shoot in the 4th quarter when Giannis was on him. He blocked 5 shots and probably altered twice that many more. Booker seemed to give up even trying to take things to the rim.

Look at where his head is relative to the backboard the first block last night (and the blocks on Booker might have been even better). That might have been the best defensive game I've ever seen a big guy play.

Giannis simply was NOT going to be denied last night.

He absolutely did NOT want to get on that plane back to PHX & it showed in his play. He was Steph Curry at the line last night. (17/19) He was Dikembe Mutombo protecting the rim. He even had a few nice mid-range jumpers ala Kevin Durant. He even hit a THREE! He was John Stockton when they triple teamed him & Portis knocked down shots along with Kha$h Money.

What sucked about last night? Pat Connaughton looked like me shooting the ball out there. He even missed both FT's late. WTF happened? He had open looks.

It was a tough slog of a game, grind it out, muck it up, make it dirty. Nobody is beating them when they do that. The Bucks are too big, tough & physical.

The Bucks are weird....they need to play a team a couple times to "get" them. We saw it against the Nets & Suns...and even the Hawks in the first game.

....and that's why they "swept" the Suns. Beating that team 4 straight after they were down 0-2....it's quite obvious the best team won & anybody who says "well but....the Brooklyn nets were injured" The Bucks weren't 100% healthy either.

Champions. Took 1/2 a century to get there but God Damn it was worth it!!

Durant sounded really excited to get Jrue & Kha$h on the USA Olympic team. I'll bet he'd much rather have those 2 guys than Kyrie & Harden

One more thing....Peter Bukowski liked my tweet of what I was drinking after the game.

I’ve not had Adictivo but will certainly give it a shot.  Don’t drink tequila much but Don Julio 1942 is like a religious experience.

Scotch is more my thing if I want to get after the brown and Aberlour 16 is pretty much my go to in those situations.

Dave there is no connection with Wolves fans, although, Giannis and KG draw a lot of similar comparisons especially the way they both rebound and play defense.

Watched a lot of post game stuff last night and caught up on the talking heads and their hot takes and if you ever want to be motivated or encouraged I’d listen to the Giannis post game presser.  It really tells you all you need to know about the guy and how much this all means to him.

It’s really interesting about the only star player that is giving props to Giannis is KD.  Maybe Steph Curry.  That being said, Durant can be immature and passive aggressive but game recognizes game and it’s nice to see him talk up Giannis.  On the other hand, I’m really surprised we heard nothing from CP3 and Booker and the other usual suspects like LeBron and Harden.  Where’s CJ McCollum at?

The next couple of years are really going to be fascinating.   I think the Suns will be hard pressed to return to this level and Paul isn’t getting any younger.  Does a team like Portland try to replicate what the Bucks are doing?   Utah and Denver should be improved.  What does Kahwi do?   Do the Warriors make a big push?  And that’s just the West.  In the East, you have to believe Miami and Philly won’t stand pat.  Do the Knicks or Hawks try to make a splash?   It’s also a fantastic draft class coming up.

I loved his explanation of why he exited a couple of games in a row after only playing a few minutes.

"How you guys say it politely?" Antetokounmpo said afterward when asked. "I went to take a tinkle. A tinkle? Yeah, yeah, I went to take a tinkle and came back. That's polite, right?"
