Yep. For the next 24 days Brak you are the enemy.
Great match-up! Should be lots of fun.
Eat me Brak.
that's an anagram for "beat maker."
what the hell is that supposed to mean?
Just curious, but wasn't Missouri the 3rd place SEC team or how does the scheduling work exactly?
It works because the bowls get their choice, not the order of conference finish. Big Ten second means choice after the BCS slots are filled. Same for all other conferences. Only bowls that are contracted to take conference champs have to take certain teams.
Or here is how Stewart Mandel puts it:
A quick refresher on how all this works:
β’ After the No. 1 and 2 teams are slotted and replaced, the BCS at-large selection order this year is: 1) Orange, 2) Sugar and 3) Fiesta, The highest-ranked champion from a non-automatic qualifier is guaranteed a BCS berth if it finishes in the top 12 or in the top 16 and ahead of an AQ-conference champion.
β’ Most bowls are not obligated -- I repeat, NOT OBLIGATED -- to choose in exact order of conference standings. For instance, "Big 12 No. 3" means "third selection of Big 12 teams," not "the Big 12's third-place team." Bowls often pick a team with an inferior record due to geography, anticipated fan travel, the need to avoid a regular-season rematch, or good old backroom politicking.
Tough one for me, having grown up on Larry Canada, Ron Egloff, Al Toon et al.
Who am I kidding.
What's the difference between jelly and jam?
You can't jelly a cock up your mom's ass.
Go Cocks!
you used to be a good poster.
now you've become another chickenguy.
Doesn't get any more hurtful than that.

No doubt late for class...
Here is the announce team for The Capital One Bowl:
Dave Pasch, Brian Griese & Tom Luginbill. The game will be on the ABC Network, not ESPN.
I think I will have The Badger Network on the radio.
Any wagers?
I'll forgo the points.
Maybe this will get some attention:
I guess we'll just continue to use this as the Official Game Thread.

Should be a great game. Badgers by 13, 36-23 BUCKY F'um BUCKY!!!!!!!!!!!!
This entire forum reeks of fear.
I pity you. But not.
I just spent 5 days in Greenville, the heart of what I assumed was Cock Country-----70% Clemson fans there---what gives?
Upstate SC is mostly taters. Clem Tech fans. Although they were mavericks of integration, welcoming the first black student in 1963.
1863? No.
1963.
We saw some of the blacks. Not at all uppity like them Florida blacks.
In a related note, Jacksonville just voted to rename our beloved Nathan Bedford Forrest High School.

We moved here for the olden days vibe. Now what?
Thinking new name should Lynyrd Skynrd High.

Done, sir.
This entire forum reeks of fear.
Fear of what? Our BB team is undefeated currently. Our womens volleyball team played for the national championship. And now are football team is going up against a bunch of male chickens. And you say there is fear? I know where the fear lies.
Spurred and burred, bitches.
Badgers use Gamecocks as appetizers for breakfast.
BUCKY takes Gamecluckers to the chopping block today. Game on!!! F'UM BUCKY!!!!!!!!!!
Another crappy preview, except for The Pick: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.c...l-preview/?eref=sihp
The Cocks have more playmakers but I wonder about their motivation in a game like this. Sometimes teams like this don't come to play at 100% and if that happens I think the Badgers will beat them. Clearly Wisconsin wants to end their bowl losing streak.
This is a highly motivated Gamecock team, due mostly to the grit of Shaw. The guy is 25-5 as a starter. That is borderline ridiculous.
Maybe 25-6 after today, but motivation hasn't been a problem, at least on offense.
Defense? You might catch them like they played against UGA (41 points), or you might catch them like they played against Clem Tech (17 points).
That will be the biggest factor, IMO. Bucky's O vs. South Carolina's D. I think UW will run for at least 200 today, especially if they get a nice early lead.
Has Stave overthrown anybody yet?
Go get e'm Bucky!!!
Shaw's grit might be a deciding factor, but Boreland's BFI is off the charts.
Go Badgers!!!!
good spot
There we go, SACK!
Nice sack!!!
Nice!
