Is this the game thread? ð

Ah, maybe.
According to the crappy ESPN analytics they say UW has a 91% chance of winning. I don't know a lot about Buffalo but they have always seemed like a tough out for Big Ten teams.
I for one and really interested to see what Fickell has brought to this team and the new offense has me excited. I am however as always leery when UW has some expectations how they will handle it.
One thing for sure, it is going to be hot as hell in Camp Randall. That artificial turf will be like playing in a giant oven. They are even letting fans bring in unopened bottles of water.
Unrelated but Mertz is playing on ESPN tonight as FL's starting QB.
So he will throw 5 tds and then suck the rest of the season?
Nope. He is sucking right from the start.
Gators just got Mertzâd.
Mertz did throw for 333 yards but he also had a whopping 30.4 QBR. I watched some of the game and he either was spot on or throwing it all over the place. In other words same old same old.
He threw a lot of short passes, there were two circus catches for about 70 yards including a TD, and for the most part he was inaccurate. Most of those yards came after the score was 21-3.
As with his career at Wisconsin, he LOOKS like he should be good, but heâs not. Heâs as accurate as my weatherman.
Bucky's very familiar with jumping around, but now he bobbles around too.
Bucky's made his way to the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum as an officially licensed, limited-edition bobblehead.
The Wisconsin Badgers Bucky Badger Jump Around Bobblehead bobbles from his head to his toes in honor of the university's famous tradition that shakes Camp Randall every home game.
UW-Madison's 'Jump Around' nominated for Best College Sports Tradition
Each bobbleheads serialized up to 2,023, so there's a chance to get your favorite number.
The bobblehead can be ordered online for $40 with $8 flat-rate shipping per order.
The good news is they are playing today versus tomorrow or Monday when itâs going to be close to 95. Mid 80s will still be toasty.
Will be up nort so plan to listen on radio and really curious to see how this team does this year. Much like the Packers, it is sort of exciting to go into a year where itâs not the status quo and Fickell and staff have a lot going for them. Iâm actually more interested to see how the defense and special teams line up and play.
For me, this is the most anticipated season in 30 years. It's like the Badger offense is stepping into the 21st century. Russell Wilson was a temporary breath of fresh air but this is a complete overhaul. This game is probably a blowout no matter what type of offensive scheme the Badgers fashioned but I'm just anxious to turn the page on the predictable offense we've ran in the past. The "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" power running game was starting to break and becoming obsolete.

Well ok then, doesnât look to be a well oiled offense quite yet. ðĄ
Apparently Mertz is still playing quarterback

An awful lot of negativity here.
Still lacking coverage guys.
Rome wasn't built in a day.
This isn't your Jim Leonhard defense.

That 13 is playing like crap on D. Allowed that TD and completely whiffed on a tackle.
Badgers look lost on both side of the LOS.
Well, at least the Buffalo QB finally threw an incomplete pass.
How do you effin drop that beautiful pass, eff me!
Nice hands

Too negative?
Is that Graham Mertz playing?
Batted ball away from himself
Not impressed with this team so far, not good.
Tanner Mertzicai.

Reminds me of what the transition to Gary Andersen eventually looked like.
I was hoping to see the backup QB in the 2nd half. Now I think I'd like to see him sooner.
It's a brand new coaching staff on both sides of the ball. First game against a different team. Just rtfb
Should be 14 to 7
