When comparing the consensus board to the mock Ted board, here are the choices:

Round One

Tier four players still available : Jordan Phillips/DT/Oklahoma, Owamagbe Odighizuwa/OLB/UCLA, Eric Kendricks/ILB/UCLA

Big Ted is very happy with what he sees.  Would be overjoyed with any of these players at #30.

Prediction : Eric Kendricks/ILB/UCLA

Round Two

Tier 8 players still available : David Johnson/RB/Northern Iowa, Mario Edwards Jr/DE/Florida State

Tier 9 players still available : T.J. Yeldon/RB/Alabama, Clive Walford/TE/Miami FL, Ty Sambrailo/OT/Colorado State, Alex Carter/CB/Stanford. Eric Rowe/CB/Utah, Josh Shaw/CB/Southern California, Jaquiski Tartt/S/Samford

Ted is seriously tempted to jump down a tier, then decides he's sticking to the board, and then other members of the team convince him a cornerback makes more sense than the guy he thinks would be a slightly better value at this point.  This may not be a democracy, but that doesn't mean that Ted isn't a team player.

Prediction : Eric Rowe/CB/Utah

Round Three

Tier 9 player available = Ty Sambrailo/OT/Colorado State

Teir 10 players available = Marcus Hardison/DE/Arizona State, Craig Mager/CB/Texas State

Ted tells the room that it's a good thing that Sambrailo is still on the board, otherwise he could have had RB-David Johnson in round two and CB-Craig Mager in round three.  But Sambrailo's still there and the Packers already filled the cornerback need in round two, making the offensive lineman the easy pick here.

Prediction : Ty Sambrailo/OT/Colorado State

Round Four

Tier 12 player available : Jake Ryan/ILB/Michigan

Tier 13 player available : Jordan Hicks/ILB/Texas

Tier 14 player available : Karlos Williams/RB/Florida State, Mario Alford/WR/West Virginia, Jamison Crowder/WR/Duke, Tyrus Thompson/OT/Oklahoma, Derrick Lott/DE/Tennessee-Chattanooga, Tyeler Davison/DT/Fresno State, Max Valles/OLB/Virginia, Ben Heeney/ILB/Kansas, Damian Swann/CB/Georgia
Ted isn't sure he wants to take that second inside linebacker this early, but as fate would have it he'd have to jump down two tiers to draft a player at a different position.  Ted's not willing to jump down two tiers.

Prediction : Jake Ryan/ILB/Michigan

Round Five

Tier 14 players available : Ben Heeney/ILB/Kansas, Damian Swann/CB/Georgia

Tier 15 players available : Bryan Bennett/QB/Southeastern Louisiana, Jalston Fowler/FB/Alabama, Kenny Bell/WR/Nebraska, Titus Davis/WR/Central Michigan, Gavin Lutman/WR/Pittsburg State, James O'Shaughnessy/TE/Illinois State, Wes Saxton/TE/South Alabama, Jamon Brown/OT/Louisville, Jamil Douglas/OG/Arizona State, Mark Glowinski/OG/West Virginia, Lynden Trail/DE/Norfolk State, Louis Trinca-Pasat/DE/Iowa, Ryan Russell/OLB/Purdue, Ibraheim Campbell/S/Northwestern, Clayton Geathers/S/Central Florida.

"Daggum" Ted mutters in disgust.  The board has dealt him an inside linebacker (already took two) and a cornerback (already took one).  He looks at the depth chart and sees 9 defensive backs already there that are likely to make the roster (Shields, Heyward, Burnett, Clinton-Dix, Hyde, Goodson, Richardson, Banjo and already drafted Rowe).  Ted considers adding the second cornerback anyway, but there are plenty of potentially undrafted defensive backs that Ted likes.  This is an obvious trade down situation but let's say one isn't available.  Ted looks at tier 15.  Now he can get the running back he didn't take in round two.  Ted mutters "darn it" as there are no running backs remaining in tier 15 (Mike Davis/South Carolina had been there but has already been picked by another team).  Ted looks at tight end and favors Wes Saxton/South Alabama.  Ted wouldn't mind picking him here but thinks he could make it down to round six.  He also looks at Ryan Russell/OLB/Purdue.  Ted notes that the team originally had 6 OLBs listed in this tier and that five are already off the board.  Ted thinks that if Saxton is picked before the Packer's sixth rounders come up, then O'Shaughnessy will be available and he has the same grade as Saxton.  Because of that, the outside linebacker makes more sense here.

Prediction : Ryan Russell/OLB/Purdue

Round Six

Tier 14 player available : Damian Swann/CB/Georgia

Tier 15 players available : Bryan Bennett/QB/Southeastern Louisiana, Jalston Fowler/FB/Alabama, Kenny Bell/WR/Nebraska, Gavin Lutman/WR/Pittsburg State, James O'Shaughnessy/TE/Illinois State, Wes Saxton/TE/South Alabama, Louis Trinca-Pasat/DE/Iowa

Tier 16 players available : Brandon Bridge/QB/South Alabama, John Crockett/RB/North Dakota State, Mark Weisman/FB/Iowa, Kaelin Clay/WR/Utah, Vernon Johnson/WR/Texas A&M-Commerce, Blake Bell/TE/Oklahoma, A.J. Derby/TE/Arkansas, Laurence Gibson/OT/Virginia Tech, Sean Hickey/OT/Syracuse, Takoby Cofield/OG/Duke, Tory Slater/DE/West Georgia, Angelo Blackson/DT/Auburn, Deon Simon/DT/Northwestern State, Zach Hodges/OLB/Harvard, J.R. Tavai/OLB/Southern California, Zack Wagenmann/OLB/Montana, Alani Fua/ILB/Brigham Young, Bryce Hager/ILB/Baylor, Justin Coleman/CB/Tennessee, Randall Evans/CB/Kansas State, Nick Marshall/CB/Auburn, Dexter McDonald/CB/Kansas, Darryl Roberts/CB/Marshall, Detrick Bonner/S/Virginia Tech, Dean Marlowe/S/James Madison, Bradley Pinion/P/Clemson

Ted is thrilled that Wes Saxton is still here and can't get the pick in fast enough.

Pick #206 prediction : Wes Saxton/TE/South Alabama

Ted is looking at Damian Swann.  Even though Ted really didn't want to take a second cornerback he decides Swann is too good a value to pass up.  Pick 207 = Malcolm Brown/RB/Texas.  Pick 208 = Kenny Bell/WR/Nebraska.  Pick 209 = Damian Swann/CB/Georgia.  Ted can't believe it that Swann went one pick ahead of Green Bay.  Tier 14 now empty.  Subtract Kenny Bell from Tier 15.  So the top tier guys left are Bryan Bennett/QB/Southeastern Louisiana, Jalston Fowler/FB/Alabama, Gavin Lutman/WR/Pittsburg State, James O'Shaughnessy/TE/Illinois State, Louis Trinca-Pasat/DE/Iowa.  Ted's eyes light up as he sees a Hawkeye but just then McCarthy leans over and suggest the quarterback.  Ted agrees that a developmental guy in this area of the draft is a good idea.

Pick 210 prediction : Bryan Bennett/QB/Southeastern Louisiana

Pick 211 = Troy Hill/CB/Oregon.  Pick 212 = Justin Coleman/CB/Tennessee

Jalston Fowler/FB/Alabama, Gavin Lutman/WR/Pittsburg State, James O'Shaughnessy/TE/Illinois State and Louis Trinca-Pasat/DE/Iowa still available.  Ted knows that he still doesn't have his running back.  Ted thinks about it, and then jumps the board and dips down into tier 16 to take his running back

Pick 213 prediction : John Crockett/RB/North Dakota State

Pick Seven

Without going into all the players left, Ted decides he wants to get another nose guard here for 2016 Raji/Guion insurance.  The choices are Angelo Blackson/Auburn and Deon Simon/Northwestern State.  Ted thinks that Blackson is more versatile but Simon is more of a true nose guard.

Prediction : Deon Simon/DT/Northwestern State

Summary:

30 - Eric Kendricks/ILB/UCLA

62 - Eric Rowe/CB/Utah

94 - Ty Sambrailo/OT/Colorado State

129 - Jake Ryan/ILB/Michigan

166 - Ryan Russell/OLB/Purdue

206 - Wes Saxton/TE/South Alabama

210 - Bryan Bennett/QB/Southeastern Louisiana

213 - John Crockett/RB/North Dakota State

247 - Deon Simon/DT/Northwestern State

But if Ted sticks to the board throughout the whole draft:

30 - Eric Kendricks/ILB/UCLA

62 - David Johnson/RB/Northern Iowa

94 - Ty Sambrailo/OT/Colorado State

129 - Jake Ryan/ILB/Michigan

166 - Damian Swann/CB/Georgia

206 - Wes Saxton/TE/South Alabama

210 - Bryan Bennett/QB/Southeastern Louisiana

213 - Gavin Lutman/WR/Pittsburg State (or FB-Jalston Fowler or DE-Louis Trinca-Pasat)

247 - Deon Simon/DT/Northwestern State

I had Donovan Smith off the board at, ironically, #62.

I want to comment on posts as long a Joe's.

I want to comment on all the potential scenarios he's come up with.

I want to comment on 40 times and consensus boards.

However I feel like merging the consensus board with the mock Ted board is a little too much like

Don't pay the Perryman, until he gets you to the other side.

Never been to a Super Bowl without a 50:

Fact is, we don't go to the Super Bowl without a 50 on the roster that year.  You can look it up.  So if it's not McKinney, then somebody (really, just anybody) needs to wear 50 and we're good.
