"It's our job to put our best players in a position to make plays, so if it's our job to put our best players on their best players, then we need to figure out how to do that. I mean, I'm not just gonna walk into a game and say the scheme is just strong enough to stop that great player. That's just not how I think. We gotta figure out how to stop their best players each week and if that means doing something a little bit different, then it's our job to do that."  -  not Joe Barry

Will likely be listed as "questionable" on final report today. And MLF mumbling something about game time decision as well.

JA V. JJ will be fun.

Or maybe not..

My opinion doesn't even matter on the internet, but I'm getting sick of this Mickey Mouse shit with Love's injury. If he doesn't play this week they might as well should have IR'd him. Defend it as "gamesmanship" in having your opponent not know who to prepare for each week, but come on already.  Either play him or don't. I can't stand seeing the Vikings fans deal with this not-knowing bullshit all week. It's maddening.

PS activations later today should tell if Love and JA are a go on Sunday. If Clifford does not get activated, pretty good sign Love plays. If only Rochell and no other CB is called up, same for Alexander

IDGAF who is out there.....no excuses. WIN!

@RapSheet:

He’s back: #Packers QB Jordan Love is expected to return to the lineup against the #Vikings, three weeks after spraining his MCL.

Green Bay is not elevating Sean Clifford from the PS.

Damn.....there goes my NFL script writing with Malik starting and Love coming in during the 3rd Quarter to have the comeback win. Shucks......

Welp.....maybe Malik will come in and save the day! QB controversy!!!

From packers.com:

The Green Bay Packers elevated CB Kamal Hadden and CB Robert Rochelle from  the practice squad to the active roster for gameday. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transactions Saturday.

[Hadden was a sixth round pick this year for KC. Signed to GB p-squad on Aug 30]

@TomSilverstein:  Love is starting Sunday against the #Vikings, a source said. Love said during the week that he was "close", and apparently he wasn't exaggerating. Unsaid is that CB Jaire Alexander's status might not be good. Packers elevated two cornerbacks.

Josh Jacobs fined $45,000 for lowering his helmet into a tackler during the Titans game. The play was not flagged, nor did  it seem bad at the time. I'm sure he will appeal as that's a pretty hefty fine.

I’d Love starts and the Packers lose, then Love will be 0-2 this season and Malik will be 2-0.

Obviously, there won’t be a QB controversy but it would be a bad look for Love.

If they lose, Love will have lost two games to teams that are currently 5-1.

Willis will have beaten teams that are currently 1-5.

If Love had started and been healthy, they'd have beaten the Colts and Titans just as easily (at least).
