Needed the Hank Jr. post.

So would that be 12?

EDIT: Yep

EDIT, EDIT: So far...
As much as it pains me to type this, the cardinals are just a better run organization from top to bottom. We can bicker about this if anyone disagrees but the proof is that the Brewers have signed three of their cast-off pitchers in the last 5-6 years.

They plug in a guy like Freese and he becomes a clutch hitter. The Brewers try with Gamel/Green and those guys can't stay on the field longer than a couple weeks.

I wouldn't be upset if Doug Melvin's successor came from that organization.

Not sure from top to bottom. Mark A seems like a wonderful owner on all fronts.

Not sure why this is the proof. I would say the wins, losses and championships tell the story.

Not sure Gamel's bad luck has anything to do with either org. Green is "just a guy" in any organization.
I know zero about DeWitt but I do know St. Louis has been a baseball town since before any of us were born. I do know what the Brewer organization was even with a brand new stadium before Mark A came long. The turnaround that team has had on the field, off the field and in the stands has been remarkable to say the least.

I feel confident that owning the Milwaukee Brewers and having success on and off the field is a tougher task than in St. Louis.

Disagree 100%. I have no idea what DeWitt has done overall with the club. But you seem to completely dismiss what Mark A did with a laughing stock organization.

Not sure how one could rate them side-by-side and DeWitt very well could "win." But it for sure deserves a discussion. It ain't a slam dunk.

What's your criteria for judging an owner?
