Yes. They are paying for giving big money to an average (at best) QB for one good year. Love is a lot better than Jones, but it's potentially still the same basic problem (overpaying for a guy that's not a difference maker at QB because you are worried the alternatives are going to be much worse).
This is on the verge of a rout.

If you switched Daniels for Hurts, I think Philly would be favored to beat either the Bills or Chiefs in a Super Bowl matchup. Hurts just isn't a 50 million dollar QB. He's Jordan Love with a great OL, a superstar RB (even better than Jacobs), and an outstanding group of WRs.
Daniels elevates the guys around him.
