So who is everyone rooting for this weekend?  Or do you even care and will skip watching?

Me I am rooting for a Commanders vs. Bills Super Bowl.  My wife is a huge Commanders fan, so I obviously want her to be happy.  i also lived in DC for a long time and have lots of Commander's fans who are good friends of mine, so I am rooting for them.

The last thing I want to see is an Eagles vs. Chiefs game but I honestly think that is what we will get.

PHI will have their hands full.  I am prepared for a PHI win but would not be surprised one iota if WAS keeps rolling.  They are rolling hot.

The KC/BUF should be a really good one too.  KC has been flirting with one score games all season, allowing average 2024 stats Mahomes to always pull it out in the end.  And their D is the one keeping it close, not their O.  Can Spagnuolo pitch another gem and throttle down JA and their offense?

It would seem that BUF should be able to pull this one out.

I just wish there was one game on SAT and one on SUN.  Last weekend was awesome with two on each day.

By far I am rooting for Buffalo to win it all but I fully expect them to blow it somehow.  They darn near blew it against the Ravens.

I’m slightly rooting for Washington in the other game.  That said, they scare the hell out of me for the future.  If Jayden Daniels can carry that sorry team this far, what’s he going to be capable of when he actually has more talent around him?

I fear he’s going to be the Mahomes of the NFC.  He’s like Mahomes but with something close to 4.4 40-time speed, at least Daniels looks like he’s got 4.4 speed or even faster when he takes off.  He’s going to be a handful for a long long time.

I will also be pulling for a WAS/BUF Super Bowl. I pray if KC does win the AFC, and makes it to the Super Bowl, they forget to take their refs, to the game and their opponents remember to cover Kelce, for a change.

It really does blow my mind that teams just let Kelce run the middle of the field WIDE open.  If I was an opposing DC I would tell a linebacker or DB that wherever he goes you go.  I would also tell my defense do NOT and I mean do NOT even breathe on Mahomes because the flag is sure to follow.

I just heard that the Bills have already been called for roughing the passer.

Yes, Von Miller blew a snot bubble on Mahomes shoulder & Mahomes went down like he just got tossed by Reggie White & Cris Carter

I’m all for the three-peat since it’s the most interesting outcome among four teams I’m not otherwise invested in.

You WANT KC to 3-peat?!

I only want the Packers having that distinction.

As Long as Buffalo doesn't turn the ball over, they're going to beat KC, because I believe Buffalos defense will get a couple takeaways

I think defenses have done that but covering any receiver with one guy isn't always as simple as it sounds.  Can a defense commit their #1CB to TK all game?  KC doesn't have a stellar WR group but I would imagine losing your #1CB to TK would free other guys up on an equally consistent basis.

TK seems to do most of his damage finding the voids in zone coverage.  Does anyone around here know what BUF typically runs in coverage?

Like some, I don't have any particular favorite for the Halas and the Hunt.
I'd also like to see some fresh teams in the Owl, just for something different, if nothing else.

The Commodes are having a magical season, they are definitely a Cinderella team, and a feel-good story. I'm not going to jump on their bandwagon, but I'd rather see them win than not.
The Eagles have a bit of history with the Packers, but I can't get past my hatred of everything Philadelphia (except cheesesteaks!) to give them any respect. I just know I'm tired of losing to them (1-4 over the last 5, including both games this year). So, I want to see somebody beat them, and Washington has a chance to do that.

The Chefs make me recall the dynasty teams of the 1970's--1990's era.
I get tired of seeing them win year after year, yet it's hard to work up a real hatred of them. They're a good team with a great coach. Sometimes more lucky than good, but they win. A lot.
The ref advantage, real or perceived, is irritating, but it's not like the team is doing anything to cause it. They just benefit from it....
I actually like Bills fans more than I do the team, and I'd like to see them enjoy a SB win. An added benefit would be shaking that monkey off their back after 30+ years of futility. Besides, I want to see a victory parade in heavy snow!

I actually think both games should be close. I don't expect any wild, high-scoring games like we saw last week. Of course, all offenses are capable of doing that, but I'm thinking all teams will have just enough defense to keep that from happening.

That's nuts-o.

I also hope BUF can finally slay the red chef.  While I always appreciate watching a player like Mahomes do his final possession magic, it is refreshing to see the moments when he is mortal like any NFL QB.

And I do want GB to be the only team to have ever 3-peated a ship.  Even though Packers fans are the only ones aware of it.

There was a major fire Monday night in a little village just to the south of me. 3/4 of the downtown destroyed. The only thing left standing was an ice coated Bills flag that was out in front of a restaurant that was once there. Bet on Buffalo.

Hey Packiderm, you must be close by. I'm in Pittsford, pretty close to the Finger Lakes and Ovid.
