I am thinking the same. Unless those guys feel great this week, I have to think they'll sit those guys.

Barclay is far more comfortable at RG vs RT. I didn't see any glaring gaffes when he came in for Lang. Rest TJ up and get these guys healthy coming out of the bye.

Something tells me Clay is really looking forward to going after Phil Rivers. Guy is a total gamer who wears his feelings on his sleeve and I can just see 52 jazzed to knock him around. Not too mobile either.

Actually Josh Walker got most of the second half snaps at RG. Looked to acquit himself passably. Bright future.

Yeah, good poi t Cuqui.  This is the first non mobile QB we played this year and good god, we beat the crap out of him.  Rivers and Manning are in trouble.

Cutler - better than avg shiftiness.

Wilson - One of the best.

Smith - under rated runner.

Kap - One of the best.

Foles - Slightly more nimbe than a statue.

They also seem to be really thin at WR:

SAN DIEGO -- The Chargers could head into Monday night’s contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers with just two healthy receivers on the active roster, which means some potential roster shuffling before kickoff.

Slot receiver Stevie Johnson has been ruled out with a hamstring injury, while split end Malcom Floyd is questionable due to lingering concussion symptoms and receiver/returner Jacoby Jones is questionable with a high-ankle sprain.

That leaves Keenan Allen and Dontrelle Inman as the only healthy receivers on San Diego’s active roster.

Pack should beat them pretty good.  Chargers don't do anything great, just a lot of things ok.  Throw in the injuries and they're in trouble this year.  Hopefully this game can get the offense back on track.

And can't wait to see this defense rack up double digit sacks.  This o-line is full of enormous run blockers and can't pass block for sh*t.

Pass rush and defense will need to excel again. Rivers is just good enough to beat us, or anybody else, for that matter.

We've benefited from the ineptness of QBs like Foles, Kaperdick, and Smith. Rivers can make throws these guys can't.

Demovsky gets more from TJ Lang:

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- T.J. Lang says the knee injury he sustained in Sunday’s 24-10 win against the St. Louis Rams is not serious.

The Green Bay Packers right guard, who left the game in the second quarter and did not return, tweeted after the game that he will be all right.

In a follow-up text message, Lang told ESPN.com: "I'll be all right. It's nothing serious."

Lang added that it is not an ACL injury.

Left guard Josh Sitton, one of Lang's best friends on the team, said: "He seemed like he'll be all right."

It's unclear if Lang will be able to play next Sunday against the Chargers in the final game before the bye.

San Diego lives on short crossing routes on offense. With our increased speed on D those routes should not be as open in year's past.

On D, unlike the Rams, Chiefs, & Seahawks the Bolts do not rush the passer well.

Hope they win tomorrow night, because that will satisfy this mediocre squad and set them up for a beat down next Sunday.

Great....Another 15-20 more injuries & we'll be right on track

@PFF_BryanHall

For the season, when opposing QBs target Sam Shields, passer rating is 44.2. On 26 targets, only 53.8 comp %, 3PDs and no TDs.

@zachkruse2

Aaron Rodgers after 5 games in 2011: 14 TDs, 2 INTs, 122.9 passer rating. Rodgers after 5 in 2015: 13 TDs, 2 INTs, 117.4 passer rating.

Could happen with if they decide to move him coupled with an offseason in the weight room. But if you're talking about a TE coverage specialist, then yeah, sure.

But IMO they keep him at CB for now. Rare size/skill set/coverage instincts combo, unique on this roster, ideal for press coverage esp vs. bigger receivers.

So, looks like Lang and Raji will be OK. Raji said he was unsure if he'll play this Sunday and that it's a day-to-day thing The Perry injury....not encouraging to read that his arm is in a sling

Not really digging MM's tone during this presser. Mentioned that the injury is unfortunate and how Nick had been having a great year

Perspective.

@PackersNotes: Combined record of Packers five opponents is 8-17. None has a winning record.

@PackersNotes: Packers next three opponents have a combined record of 11-2. Two of them are undefeated.

Green Bay - The following is a summary of Packers coach Mike McCarthy's press conference Monday:

  • (On injuries) We'll see. We'll have an injury report on Wednesday.
  • (On Nick Perry) Never want to see any of your players go through injury stretches. Unfortunately, sometimes it comes in bunches. Is unfortunate. Nick is having a great year. We'll gather information and move forward with all these injured guys.
  • (On tape) Offense wasn't our strength. Fundamental improvement a lot to go around. Fact you're able to win despite that tells you what kind of team you have. We want to be a football team that can beat you a number of different ways. We're making steps toward that. We have some guys who are beat up. This is an imporant stretch for us. We need to do a better job with our mental preparation.
  • (On young players playing) Lot of rookies have played more than any of us expected. Bodes well for whole team. Guys are being productive. Helps us all the way through our team.
  • (On Rollins) Really done a lot of good things. He had a game-changing play and put the game awway with red zone interception. Very consistent, very mature. His college experience playing basketball and playing a fifth year, it's never been too big for him.
  • (On offense's problems) There’s nothing going on. It’s football. It’s the way you compete in this league. It's about match-ups, scheme, flow and things that happen around you. To me, this was a very healthy day for our offense to go through. I think this is exciting that we're a team that wants to beat you as much as possible.
  • (On run game production) Give opponent credit. We focus on things we can control. Offensively, we not as sharp mentally as we need to be.
  • (On Josh Walker) Thought he played well. Did some things. As a whole pass protection was good.
  • (On Rodgers running) We don't go in looking for him to run. He's looking to throw. I think he's been very decisive. I'm not interested in Aaron having eight carries. It's part of the offense. I thought he was decisve.
  • (On Sean Richardson) There's things that need to be looked at. This is not the time to talk about it.

That's it for McCarthy. We'll have the coordinators next.

Would be 13 and 12 if it weren't for those pesky Packers.  Damn you,  Green Bay.

Green Bay - The following is a summary of Packers defensive coordinator Dom Capers' Monday press conference:

  • (General statement) Like how we played run early in the game. We got them into some passing situations. Had excellent pressure. I thought hits on quarterback had a major effect on him. Anytime you have the passing stats like that you feel good. Best thing in my mind was adversity situations. We had five. [3 turnovers, fake punt, failed 4th-and-1] We gave up three points. I thought guys responded the way you would like to see them respond. We won 13 of 18 on third down. We played well down in the red zone for the second week in a row. Areas to improve: Gurley had a 55-yard run. Then in 2-minute we give them a 68-yard pass. Luckily, we rose to the occassion. we gave up a 123 yards on two plays.
  • (On cornerbacks) Big part of the game now (is mixing and matching). Those rookies have been challenged. They both have responded well. Those interceptions were big.
  • (On QB hits) Probably yesterday was as high as we've been. I think it had a big impact. He was under duress. You saw on the interceptions we had people in his face. I thought he had been very efficient and hadn't been sacked much. A guy like that you don't want to keep him in a rhythm.
  • (On defensive pride) I think most of your teams can win a lot of different ways. In 2010, we won a lot of different ways. Scoring defense was good. I think it makes us a better team when we can do that.
  • (On blitzes) You see more of them if they're working. One thing in this game if htey're working you go to them more. We got a lot of pressure on four-man rush. Saw Clay with pressure. Julius. Datone Jones. Tied with our coverage well.
  • (On Banjo) Chris has really done a good job. You know he's done a good job for us. He's a smart guy, knows all the adjustments. Two out of the last three games gone in with two safeties.
  • (On Joe Thomas) Watched him on practice field. You saw him show up when given opportunities. Been able to see him take part in that role (dime backer). We've had a lot of young guys like that.
  • (On Burnett out) Have a little more depth. Happened (negatively) to us last year with him out. Now Ha is in his scond year. We have guys in positions for a couple of years. Those guys have done a good job communicating. Our depth has been tested through five games.

Raji probably had his junk in a sling

I'm not judging.
