This might be last be his last game as a Cowboy. He has a 17 million dollar cap hit and is only 12 million in dead cap if they move on (and that would likely be split over 2 years).
The key takeaway is never overpay for a RB. Good ones are a dime a dozen and they seemingly can be washed up overnight once they hit 27-28 years old.
Packers fans need to remember this when they move on from Aaron Jones.

Zele needs to have a good half. Even though fairly young for a player, Elliott is looking like an older RB from all the carries in his career.
