Why did I have a mental image of him in an alley with a crack pipe?
I wish him all the best. Getting away from it all is sometimes the best thing.
Pretty sure no one really cares all that much. Since he's from around my current home, anything about him still makes news.
Busted last night for Heroin.
I mean this completely not in jest, Drugs is bad.
"Some people you just can't reach."
Still picking him for my fantasy team this year

Cheering for the demise of a kid that a horrible childhood, nice thread
Donald Driver spent nights in a U-haul trailer as as a kid. Colt has been thrown a lot of life lines. He'll get thrown some more. Up to him to grab one and make it stick.
I don't think anyone's cheering either.
No, not "cheering for the demise" Lyerla. Just not willing to feel too sorry for a guy who was offered a free education with all the perks that a D1 player has, and then had a chance to play pro ball. He had to stay out of trouble even if it was difficult. Yup, he had a horrible childhood but you make your own choices and have to take responsibility for your own life right about the time you learn to drive, to paraphrase JK Rowling.

I just wish he would get his life straightened out and help the Packers win some games. If nothing else he has left a ton of money on the table he could be using for later in life - if not he undying love of Packer fans everywhere. I know NE TE Gronk isn't a popular guy in some places, but he said he lives on his endorsement money and saves his salary. He will be set for 3 lifetimes. Lyerla has that potential - IMO. To bad for himself and his family it will never be reached - they way things are now.
Mess.
Sad how much he's messed up his life.
Does this make him a street free agent?
that guy is haunted by something more than just stupidity. good luck...
This makes me consider removing him from my keeper list in my dynasty league
Hopefully, this is rock bottom for him. The next step down is pretty permanent.
Great Yards after Catch though.
EDIT
And, found OD'd in a house here in Hillsboro.
All joking aside, I hope this kid sees the light and gets the help he needs, if he survives this overdose...
