Timed runs, drills, height/weight, reps... I don't care about any of that ****. There's plenty of examples of guys that had off-the-chart numbers that couldn't play football. Jamal Reynolds and Mandarich come to mind. I hope TT goes out and gets guys that can play football.

If its T'eo, fine. Seems to me prior to the NC game and the girlfriend scandal he was considered a stud MLB heading into the draft.

IMO, the most important aspect of a MLB is instincts. Can the guy recognize a play, get to the spot and make a play on the ball? Let's find one of those dudes.

Even though he's always looked slow on the field, AJ Hawk actually had a fast 40 time (4.59) for a guy his size at the combine. I shudder to imagine how slow Te'o would look out there. I know there's a lot more to playing football than a 40 yard dash time, but if they're going to dump Hawk, I hope they try to find a better prospect than a creep like Te'o.

Tru dat. For an ILB you should be more concerned with his burst and shuttle times. They're not DB's or WR's. An ILB needs to explode to the ball or turn his hips and run with a receiver for 10-20 yds max. Not saying anything about Te'slow but 40 times don't mean much for many positions.

The O-linemen were the talk of the week: If you didn’t get a chance to see the O-linemen work out, you missed, pound for pound, the most athletic group at the Combine. These were not your father’s O-linemen. They were trim, fast, strong and athletic. Many scouts that I spoke with said this class was impressive from a pure athletic standpoint and many of them can back it up with tough solid play. There may be more offensive linemen drafted in the first three rounds of this draft than ever before in the history of the draft. The TE’s were also an impressive group.

Please draft oline damn it!
yup.

running back will fix itself as soon as the beef up front is grade A

Jones, Jordy and Jobb will get wide open with the extra half second AR isn't on his back.

M & M just noted that James Laurinaitis ran a 4.8 at the combine. I'm suspecting this time for Teo is being blown out of proportion like everything else about this guy.
