Didn't realize I was reading/posting here for so long until I looked at the date.
It's interesting to hear some of the names of posters of years gone by like I2H, Cracked, Scoop, JohnnyZ, etc.
Didn't a bunch of people who post/posted here also hang on a board by "Zbud"?

Yup. X's 4 and ZBud's were the 2 main directions everyone went after the JSO days. I posted over there for the first 6-7 years after the JSO, then came over here as trolls and Queens fans were allowed to infest that board. A lot of people posting at both places, but I stuck to mostly Z's until 2005.
I have been a member since 96, and have usually enjoyed the content, mostly only serious Packer fans or respectful not whiners or trolls from other fan bases! have to say agree with the post about Z-buds never really cared for it!

Ummmmm......I think X's 4 has only been around since 2000.
You would be correct sir, February to be exact, like the 2nd or something
This is a great thread. Brings back lots of fun memories. I, too, migrated here from the JSO boards. Went by the handle "Badger" in those days but someone already had that handle here. I am also in the "daily visitor/reader but don't post much crowd". This board is a gift from heaven for us out-of-staters who would have a tough time keeping tabs on the best NFL franchise.
Keep up the good work, you mods. This is an awesome site.

Good reminiscing here. And great that the Pack is going to the SUPER BOWL!!

Many on this board have argued that Favre is the greatest QB of all time. Many have also thought of Trent Dilfer as a joke.

Ive been here since 00-01, though used to be NCStatePack.

Recalling back to the old JSO forum does anyone remember a regular poster on there called "Steelfloor" ? He used to photoshop crazy pictures of how Ray Rhodes was destroying the Packers franchise in 1999 and animations of Vikings players choking in the playoffs and such. Hilarious stuff !
I remember Steel. He was a regular at Z's. Not sure what happened to him.

Same here. Don't post a lot. But i'm here everyday, couple times a day.
I remember the great rivalries with the St. Pete Times forums and the Bucs fans. Music City, the Rock, snook, etc...those were the good times. Then that Bucs forum got shut down, but I always remained loyal to X4. It was and still is the best place to get my fix on.

Yeah I remember when we were all posting on JSonline and they made a huge change to the posting and forums format.
I remember the JSOnline days too. That board seems so archaic now. I don't post much either, but always stop by on most days to check in. Hard to believe how fast time flies. Wow.

There was a get-to-gether in Hudson once too. I made that one. LB, VG, DD and a few others were there.
It was a quieter simpler time. We all waited around for our dial up to refresh and by the time we got to type our sarcastic biting comments we had forgotten them so instead we just quoted Monty Python
I remember that trip well. I shot pool very well that night. Had a good time, especially talking with CrashOften, a viking fan. But a good dude. Was pretty hung over the next day. Another guy from Arizona and his GF was there as well. Some others also, cant remember now. Good times in the old days of X4.

CS I was over there a lot too (with the same moniker). I remember going over there when the Buc/Pack rivalry picked up and was pretty heated. Snook was a hell of a big mouth, but they were always fun arguments.
Yeah I remember you speak, always calmed snook down with his irrational arguments. Those were the days...but this place was my home.
Hahaha - I remember "snook" from the Spit Crimes.
I originally registered on opening day with everyone else, but had an email issue that caused me to re-register. Can't believe how much time has passed either.

Yup!! that's the guy!! He was a character too! I wonder if any of his stuff is archived...
I still think Tank doctored those pictures.

Only been on this board about 3 years but on another board much longer. Been a Packer fan for over 65 years. Used to listen to them on the radio long before the days of TV. I was a senior in H.S. before my folks even got a TV but used to always listen to thPackers on the radio (for you youngsters on this board, radio is like TV without the pictures. LOL!!)
This thread makes me feel old. I still remember most of the posters mentioned here but I miss I2H the most.
The thing I like best about x4 is it helps me find the common ground between the too-sweet fluff reports from Packers.com and the sometimes over-opinionated reporting of the local GB/Milwaukee beat writers.
As hard as it may be to believe, we didn't get a home computer until @ 02/03. I had been reading the JSO/GBPG sports from work shortly before that; I was desperate for Packers news because it sure as heck was being reported in the local Atlanta paper. I was frequently in AOL footbal chatrooms and was 'recruited' by someone starting a new BB forum to join his. He asked one day if I had ever heard of x4, provided a link for me, and I was floored! Packer heaven, indeed!

I was trolling the web for any info on the Packers, when I found this website.
I was living in Arizona at the time, but might as well have been on the moon.
There was practically nothing about the Packers in the news.
I waited about a year before I registered.
I was more interested in the news, than making a comment.
Its still my main reason for coming here.
This board helped me find other Packer backers in AZ. We had a couple of get togethers which were great.
When the Packers came to AZ it was so great. Because suddenly there was an explosion of Green and Gold in AZ.

Lots of fond memories in this thread about quite a few posters I'd forgotten about.
I2H was the king but during those couple of training camps Eternal Game Face ruled the roost. His training camp reports were fabulous.
I sometimes wonder what happened to Steelfloor.
And Goalline.
And Goalline.
What happened to Yow/Mr.Yow ?
Who's Yow....never heard of him.
Amazing that Ron Jr hasn't posted in the last 5 weeks.
Did the kid who lost it on the JSO site ever make it here? Packbeback I think?
Basketcase.
Basketcase.
Packbeback1, IIRC, yeah I think he was here, posting to himself and arguing with himself.
Wow, Yow.
Can I write a check?

There are some OLD people around here. I haven't been on the site very long, 3-4 years, PackLandVA is who told me about it, when I was on a different site.
But to echo, many of the words, this is a great place, to vent, discuss, and question, and learn about the Packers. Hopefully, one day I will get to 5 digit posts and be entertaining.
Thanks X4
SB Bound!!!!!
All I know is the transition to "old guard" from young-whatever-I-was-before happened too quickly.
And speaking of being old, my memory must be going because I can't remember exactly how I found TimesFour....it wasn't through the JSonline forums, so it must have been through a general search for Packer stuff online. In 2000, I had just moved to New Jersey from Wisconsin and the standard news articles etc just weren't enough.
A big thanks to Scoop and Boris!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
