We hear how "loose" this team is.  Well, maybe they're too loose.  Heard about how the club house was "rocking" with tunes (as usual) before today's game...well, it is not business as usual and you guys lost two tough games in 48 hours before this loss.  Maybe some or at least one of these guys needs to get serious instead of reveling in the fact the Brewers have over-achieved this year.

So that’s where you’re goin with it. Not “hey the Cubs are a vastly more talented team.”  Not “Baseball, man. Weird stuff happens.”

You’re taking the “they were listening to music before the game which means they weren’t serious or something” and that’s why they lost. Music. Before the game. Because listening to music before the game clearly means they are simply happy winning 81 games and they aren’t concerned about winning or losing. Just banging out killer tunes dude.

Jesus Tapdancing Christ on a cracker.

Another tough loss but if this team gets to extra innings it's pretty much a guaranteed loss.

The division race is likely over now and with Colorado winning and STL winning their wild card chances are fading fast.

Might be on to something with that music theory.  And how many home runs did you see yesterday after players ran the "gauntlet?"  I think this team needs to talk a page out of the classy Cardinals playbook if they want any success this year.

In addition to dropping the damn music those kids are listening to noadays, I have to suggestions to winning the whole damn thing.

Make Ned Yost the manager of the Cubs.  No one can lose a season at the end of a season like Ned.

Sit Sogard.  All he does is lose.

I wish it were as simple as music.  Is that like the Brewers equivalent to icing the cookies?

Part of the problem is just a pure lack of experience.  The Cubs are really good to be sure, but they have also been tested in the playoffs which prepares them well for these high pressure situations.  It sucks to watch them come up short but they are battling and it should help them for future (similar) events.

What ticks me off is how the ****ing Cardinals took the gaspipe against Chicago but are now on fire which doesn't help Milwaukee one bit.  We struggle to beat them and they can't help the Brewers when we need them.  God I hate the Cardinals!!  I hope Planet X or a small meteor crashes into BuschStadium or whatever the hell they are calling that place now.

You are taking this too serious.  We weren't supposed to be here this season.  The kids are feeling the pain of losing when it was big.  Hopefully it leaves a mark that pushes them further next year.

Arcia blowing a kiss to the dugout while at bat Thursday was a sign they aren't quite there.  Versus the Cubs Baez crouching lower and swinging harder to drive in big run.

They're not there. They have all the tools, but they lack the experience. That how you come up small in big spots. They have come up small 3 games in a row. So if this team is going to overtake the Cubs, who are the team to overtake, they're being shown right now what they need to do to do it.

No disrespect to the Brewers, but go Cubs!!!

i grew up a Milwaukee braves fan, I turned into a Cubs fan when the braves moved to Atlana.

nowadays, I am a Cubs fan.

but, I still relish a Brewers win over the Cubs. I am from Wisconsin after all.

go Cubs!!!

You know, I am just going to take this as sarcasm. If it is serious, it reminds me of the 'bad body language' comments on here during the Yost years…

What's the MLB record for consecutive extra inning losses?

Man the Brewers just cannot seem to seal the deal.  Chicago is good but damn this is getting old.

Let's rally and break the streak

Rolled into town in time for Arcia's dinger.  Looking forward to witnessing the next Chapter in Brewer history.  Last game I watched at Miller CC hit the home run in the eighth and threw 9 straight strikes in the ninth to put us in the playoffs!

Been waiting for the right spot.
