"Per a source, #Packers T Aaron Adams tore his ACL and MCL last night. Will be placed on IR." If they were keeping a 9th OL, might've been him
... do you throw away your frozen burrito if it's not fully cooked after 30 seconds in the microwave?
No, but I fire the ****ing microwave (out the nearest window).
Is comparing Thornton to a frozen burrito apropos?
First the anticipation, then it tastes real good on the way in (draft pick);
but hurts like a beatch on the way out...(the turk visits your sensitive areas)
Yeah, I think you've nailed it Henry.
I'll have the Thornton Burrito, hold the khyri sauce
Mmmmmm Carnitas Mission Burrito....hold the tripe please, YUM!!
If they were keeping 3 QBs there's no need to alternate quarters with Flynn and Tolzien. That was a final evaluation for a spot. Don't know which one they like. I vastly prefer Flynn, but one of them is gone on a team this deep.
Big step forward for Derek Sherrod, who led
#Packers in preseason snaps (200) after missing last 2 camps. CB Jumal Rolle led defense w/ 170
That's a considerable investment. One of the toughest spots to fill and develop, Tramon is all but gone after this year, House is most likely gone as well. I think Rolle is the kind of guy they look to as having potential for a jump. This cut is as much about the start of the 2015 training camp as it is about the 2014 season. Stay ready so you don't have to get ready.
Does the combination of Banjo with his STs ability and Jumal Rolle with his potential make cutting Bush a possibility? It's a 1.6 million cap savings, he's turning 30, and this is the last year of his contract. Rolle is gone if he doesn't make the roster. I'm guessing Hyde is ready to take over the tone setter role that Bush has with the DBs. I'm not saying Bush isn't good enough for the team (far from it), but there's a couple of factors that go beyond how well he plays.
Pete Doughtery reporting that Thornton's injury will only keep him out a few weeks and expect him on the 53.
Have to admit, we have too many very good players to keep Thornton on "potential". I'd try to PS him and if someone claims him, so be it.
As far as Bush, if they think Banjo can succeed him on ST, Bye Bush. He's 30 and Banjo is ascending.
No way I'd get rid of House. I'd keep Tolzzzzzzzzzzzzzz over Flynn and just keep 2 QBs. If we lose AR, we're screwed anyway. Too bad Flynn has no arm but that's the way it is.
The concern over Flynns arm strength is puzzling to me. Can a guy win a game if needed? Flynn had to clean up Tolziens mess against the Vikings last year to salvage a tie.
If GB keeps Tolzien it's because MM feels he has progressed enough to win a game if needed. Not because Flynn lacks arm strength.
From this picture of Flynn's wife, he clearly has more game
If you're wife looks like that, you're not beating yourself up very often. Over time this leads to muscle atrophy. Leading to the inability of throwing a football through a 3/4 inch sheet of plywood.
Think about it.
My arm is now exhausted......
Hard to believe I can concentrate on any football
