63 and sunny is the forecast a week out.  Peyton cannot throw long, he is a dink and dunker as was Rivers last week, gotta check that.  They have no running game so our good D should be able to pin their ears back and make Mannng very uncomfortable.  If so he will toss it up. Need to catch them if he does.

They have a good D, our tackles need to Step up, their Rush is very good.  Lacy and Starks will be needed to pass block. Hopefully Adams and Monty will be back and ready to contribute.  If not it is Janis! time.

Packers are the far better team if healthy and a win should be attained.

They would have won that SDG game if Capers had adjusted.

Not sure I am all that concerned about Carolina.  Their schedule is pretty easy but they get ATL twice and play at an improved Saints team and also get the Packers.

At this point there are 10 games left and there's a lot to be decided but line them and knock them down.  It'll be tough the next few weeks but hopefully the Packers can get healthy and start off the second half of fhe season strong

Still in the process of finishing the first half technically.

Factoid per Wilde:

Next Sunday night’s Packers-Broncos game will mark only the fourth time in league history that two undefeated teams with 6-0 records or better have faced each other. The previous three: The Akron Pros vs. the Buffalo All-Americans on Nov. 13, 1921; the Vikings vs. the Los Angeles Rams on Oct. 28, 1973; and the New England Patriots vs. the Indianapolis Colts on Nov. 4, 2007.

The Denver front can rush the passer, and Rodgers has been taking too many hits. Dink and dunk may be the rule for both sides, and whoever can augment that with the running game will win the ballgame. You blitz Manning at your peril.

RTFB and win this one with TOP...

I recall McCarthy mentioning 6, 6, 4 is the split for 2015.

6 - 0 right now.

The next 6 gets them through back-to-back Thu night games, and essentially their 2nd bye week.
Then the final 4...

I believe he mentioned that in his last Monday presser.

At ~ 4:45 mark he mentions getting ready for the next 6 games. This may be what I am recalling.

I'll be in the building supporting the Pack, along with some friends and family.

I can tell you that Bronco fans are nervous.  They have zero confidence in Peyton, and they realize that while their defense is good, they haven't faced anyone like Rodgers.  Most are convinced that the Packers will win.

I see that the Packers are opening as 2.5 pt. favorites.

Ticket prices have been high.  When I last checked, the cheapest pair of tickets for the Packer game (currently at $375/each, but about $400 last week) were about 36% more than the cheapest pair of tickets for the Broncos-Patriots game ($275).  Odd...all Bronco fans talk about his how they want to get Brady & Co. here.

Cool fact.  What's really bizarre it could happen for the Packers 2 weeks in a row.

No matter what happens you've got to believe NBC will flex the Nov 8 game vs Carolina, if for no other reason than to get rid of the Dallas/Philly turd of a game.

The way the Packer offense has performed to date I'd give the edge in that matchup to the Denver defense. My hope is that the combination of improved health from the bye week and some tweaks from the coaching staff will get them more on track to being a well-oiled machine.

Green Bay — The following is a summary of Packers coach Mike McCarthy's Monday press conference:

  • (On the trip home) The trip to Pittsburgh was great. It was a special day for my family and I. ... Truly an honor to be recognized in the city of Pittsburgh. ... It was a quick day. I wish we could have stayed longer.
  • (On 100 wins and reflecting on everything) It's Week 7. I think you should smell the roses as you go. I do believe in that. But I think you need to keep moving and smell the roses, keep plowing forward. I used to answer questions about a kid from Pittsburgh and where you came from. ... You can go wherever you want. I'm supposed to be here. I'm here because of the good man up top, and you have to believe that. But you have to set your sights out there and go for it. It's taken me some time to realize that.
  • (On self-scout) We spent a couple days last week on the self-scout and over the weekend. We looked at the statistics, if you believe that. ... The fundamentals are what we're going to concentrate on. ... Just recognizing the fact of how people are going to try to attack us in the future. San Diego's empty formation. We call it shrink. ... Just having some cleaner things as we move forward there. A lot of self-scout for us was reinforcement. We've done a lot of good things. We have six good weeks to build off.
  • (On specifics of fundamentals) Blocking, tackling. ... I think the phrase of chasing perfection is a solid part of this game. We're going to pad them up and get after it (today).
  • (On tackling this year) Same thing. We need to be better. You look at the numbers. We're going to hit today just like we always do.
  • (On health) God I would think a lot (healthier) just based on the training room. They feel good about the work this morning and the number of guys that were here. I was here every day and the guys were trying to get better. Some guys stayed back. Today we'll get to see guys move around. That's probably one of the other reasons we need to be in pads today.
  • (On undefeated Broncos) I think these are the biggest challenges as far as going on the road and playing an undefeated football team. Great defense. Definitely a hall-of-fame quarterback. These are the games you love to play in and really enjoy.
  • (On Davante Adams) I would think (he's ready to play). With Davante and Morgan (Burnett) having a week to practice, I think they should be good to go.
That's all from McCarthy.

I don't know. Don't usually see the same team back to back weeks on SNF and while the NFC East is a joke....those matchups still bring in a ton of viewers. I could see the GB/CAR game moved to the late FOX game with Buck/Aikman announcing and being shown to majority of the country

I have not watched Cam this year, have they signed some 7 foot tall receivers?

He threw 3 to the Clevelanders

@WesHod: The #Packers signed DT Justin Hamilton (6-2, 315) to replace Bruce Gaston on their practice squad. Joins fellow UL-L Ragin' Cajun Christian Ringo on PS.
