FWIW, Live with Larry McCarron is on and Ty Montgomery was on as his guest. He said he feels "good" was walking around just fine, in low sneakers and had no limp at all.

By no means was he running around or anything but he didn't seem at all impaired with his ankle. Bought a new video game over the bye week and went fishing with the rookie QB Brett H in Sturgeon Bay.

He also revealed he likes cheese curds and Spotted Cow.

Liking this kid more n' more.

No good place for this, but found this interesting.

Joe Buck was on Mad Dog this afternoon talking WS. Mad Dog said he and his son were headed to Lambeau for GB-Lions. Buck said he's doing that game and that he should come by the booth and that Buck makes sure it's loaded with brats for Packer games.

Leading to this question from Mad Dog. "Wrigley or Lambeau to call a game?"

Buck "Easy. Lambeau"

MD "Lambeau or Fenway!"

Buck "Lambeau"

MD "Lambeau or old Yankee Stadium?"

Buck "Old Yankee stadium is the best baseball park. But if I had to pick the best location to do a game in any sport it's Lambeau. It's the best"

Didnt see that coming.

Just because NBC may want the game doesn't mean they get it. Fox and CBS get to "protect" games from being flexed. I doubt Fox would give up this game.  They want ratings too.

From JSO

"Raji, the starting nose tackle for the Packers, said it was too early to discuss his status for the upcoming game. Though he told reporters an MRI of his injured groin came back clean aside from a bit of inflammation. ( Inflamed Groin = Goallines' alarm clock )

His readiness for Sunday will not be determined until later in the week.

"I'm not back yet," Raji said. "It's going to be a good game but like I said, my readiness hasn't been determined yet.

"My position is a little bit different than most. We are fighting 300-pound guys, two of them at times. It has a lot to do with being able to anchor and drop my weight and being able to get off blocks."

Super psyched about this game, and can not wait for Sunday night. If earlier reports are true and if there are a ton of Packer fans in attendance, it will be reminiscent of the 2007 game (remember Brett threw a TD pass first play in OT?).  I was at that game, and Packer fans were loud and proud.  I recall feeling that we took over Invesco that year.

One request for those of you attending this weekend:  start up a chant of "i n c o m p l e t e" overtime ol' noodle arms (PFM) throws up an incomplete!  :-)

Living in Colorado after SBXXXII (the "*" game) has reinforced a passionate dislike of the Donkeys.  I hope we blow them out!  GO PACK!

Green Bay - The following is a summary of Packers coach Mike McCarthy's pre-practice press conference Wednesday:

  • (On returning to play a 6-0 team) Lots of energy in the building. We have a lot of respect for the Broncos. It's going to be a big-time atmosphere up there. Sunday night game, national television. They look good on film.
  • (On Eddie Lacy’s status) He looks good just watching him work out Monday in the individual stuff. I don’t think the injury is affecting him anymore.
  • (On Eddie Lacy's weight) I'm not going to get into a guy's weight. Guys tend to get bigger as their careers go on. He is bigger than he was as a rookie.
  • (On James Starks injury) He has an injury. I talked with James earlier, and he’s hoping to do more today than he did Monday. It was an injury from the game.
  • (On Broncos defense) Very talented. Play with a high tempo. This is a big challenge for us. Wade Phillips, he’s done it forever in this league. I think every place he’s been. The one thing about Wade is his defense all plays the same. Very talented.
  • (On Peyton Manning) We're preparing for Peyton as the same player. I think you're seeing a change in scheme. They've had a bye week and we're preparing for any changes they might make. This is a big challenge for us.
  • (On altitude) We'll talk about it. Every week we have emphasis on nutrition and hydration. With high altitude you burn a lot of energy. We'll eat a lot of carbs and drink a lot of water this week.
  • (On QBs under pressure) Well, it’s a number of things. The first part is, anticipation and awareness. If you don’t, you can the quickest release in the world, but you’ll get hit harder than you should. There’s a footwork and training involved in pressure throws. It’s something that’s always been taught.
  • (On running game) We’re not running enough plays. If I was going to emphasize, we need more attempts at the plate. Sixty attempts a game, that’s not what we’re looking for. Offensively, we have a chance to clean our own house. We need more attempts in the run game, but we need more total plays. We want to be in the 70s.
  • (On Starks) You have a bye week and they're excited about things on Monday. Some times the injuries don't show up for a couple of days. He was here all week rehabbing.

And that's it for McCarthy. | Oct. 28, 2015 10:50 a.m.

Because he slights, criticizes and doesn't praise the Packers enough while watching them play?  Ever been in the x4 chat room during a game?

LOL, good point...And I stay out of the chat during games. I'm allergic to dum.

Green Bay - The following is a summary of Packers coach Mike McCarthy's pre-practice press conference Thursday morning:

  • (On Starks) Word was he did good yesterday. Plan is to have him do more today. See how pre-practice goes.
  • (On young players) Tells you what kind of team we can be. A lot of players probably playing earlier than we thought and they thought. We've been in this mode for 10 years now. Gives these guys a chance to take a step forward and contribute.
  • (On road games after bye) We actually broke the season down into three divisions. We looked at it like the hero's journey. Three stages. First six games was the first stage, next six games was the second stage and last four are the third.
  • (On Peppers) He's been consistent. Grown as a leader. Done a great job. He's been a good contribution there. Playing good football there. Keep moving him around. He's taken full advantage of it.
  • (On Masthay) So far, so good. He's been more consistent. His approach has been more consistent. I think he's off to a heck of a start with his ball placement.
  • (On identity) First six games you have to create your identity. This stage you need to galvanize who you are. The first six games was exactly what we needed. Now we play two undefeated teams and division games. This will be a challenging stretch. This is where you have to knock off the edges. That's the things I'm looking at.
  • (On Lacy weight impact) No. There's more to it than what someone weighs on the scale. I think Eddie is coming off an ankle injury he has had to deal with the past. I'm going by what I've seen the last couple of days in practice. He looks good.
  • (On Montgomery) No expectation now. We'll give him until Saturday.
  • (On Abbrederis on KOR) Comfortable with him. Handles ball seemlessly.
  • (On Burnett snaps) Something we'll address at the end of the week. Patters and substitutions. Not a position substitute.
  • (On Adams snaps) That's a moving target because of the no-huddle. That's not as exact as the others.

And that's it for McCarthy. | Oct. 29, 2015 10:43 a.m.
