@ammo - I think you overestimate that there are still a lot of angry fans. JJSD is right, it's more of an apathetic fan base these days.

In October when the Bears game visit was nixed after Starr's stroke Rodgers said he believed Favre would still come back to GB this year.

Young and Gruden... Favre will show up on ESPN some time today. He may or may not be introduced at the game. He may just watch from Rodgers private box or whatever.

The X4 mafia.

Damn straight, paisan!

Shields or no Shields. Either way we should not lose this game. Secure the ball. RTFB. Timely passes for first down. O-Line keep doing well. Game over. Atlanta has no shot unless the Packers turn the ball over

And there he is, @Favre4Official, on the ground in Green Bay.

Deanna Favre also was with Brett.

We've been to this rodeo before, you see.

They'll sneak him in the back. Put him in a box and BSPN/Gruden will salivate over him like he was Dorothy Stratton back from the dead.

Perfect way for Brent to be there yet not be there and protect ego man from potential boo birds, tucked away behind a lux box. F'in priceless he's still playing the will he/won't he game until the bitter end. Some schit never changes.

I would give strict instructions to the Jumbotron operator to not show Favre in the box.  The only way for unified booing to occur would be to show him on the Jumbotron.  Of course, it could also be a grass roots kind of thing like the wave.  But then he could just tell himself that the fans were booing Aaron Rodgers.

Wait! THATS not him. I thought he shaved off his beard!

And besides didn't Atlanta draft him?

Speaking of weather. For those wondering:

For the Packer game tonight, temperatures will be near 32 degrees cloudy skies and northwest winds at 5 to 10 mph. At the end of the game the temperature will drop to near 27 degrees.

Balmy tonight. Though Dirty Birds may not quite feel the same.

Green Bay 21, Carolina 0
Green Bay 14, Minnesota 0

*New England and Philly are both Top 5 offenses

The Packers defense is pitching shutouts to start the game and they aren't giving up much in the 2nd quarter either. Those 5 teams combined managed 23 points in the first half

Another start like the last 5 and that 32°F will feel a bit colder.

I reckon Favre being in town, whether or not he goes to the game, is going to give AR's shoulder chip that extra boost.  It's perfect.

First time that dickhead has done something right in like 10 years.

You speak unskilfully: or, if your knowledge be more, it is much darkened in your malice.

So Rodgers will throw 6 interceptions to emulate Favre from the playoff game against the Rams from the 2001-02 playoffs?

At his current interception pace (3 interceptions in 380 attempts), Rodgers will have to throw the ball 760 times tonight to match Favre's interception "production" from that classic "he's just a guy having fun out there flameout" against the Rams.

Its always nice to have CB1 available...and he should be well-rested and ready to roll

I bet Matty is glad to see Tramon again too.

That's awful!

Shields with Safety help on Julio...Tramon can handle the gimpy old White who is coming off an ankle injury, and Hyde/Hayward will take Harry Douglas in the slot

Looking forward to seeing how Barrington does tonight, as I assume he'll continue to get more looks

Luther Robinson out for the season, from calf injury in practice last Friday.

@WesHod: The #Packers have signed DT Bruce Gaston to roster from Cardinals practice squad and placed DT Luther Robinson to IR.

Gaston, who was inactive for all five games he was on an active roster, has been on Arizona's practice squad since the first week of November. He'll wear No. 99.

Robinson, 23, started the season on the Packers' practice squad before being promoted the first week of October to the active roster. He had two tackles with a pass deflection in five games. He injured his calf during practice Friday.
