Next week at BYU will be an interesting game.   First road game of the season is always tough.   I'm sure Chryst will get things "fixed" and have the team ready.   It seemed like there was no imagination on offense today.  Hopefully, we watched as they kept the game plan simple today and will open it up more next week.

Agreed that too many drops hurt the momentum and Taylor needs to know how to sky to get into the end zone.   I thought if he did a leap there at the 1 yard line his energy would've propelled him to cross the goal line with the ball.....there was. a bit of an opening for him to do it....but instead he hesitated and got stuffed.

Me too.  I'd rather not have any RB leap up over a pile.  I get it.

But it was 4th Down and none of the first 3 plays went anywhere.  Hence my thought on jumping over the pile if there wasn't any opening....or call a running play wide like they did on a 3rd Down play later in the game.

It was a very uneven performance, but this team does not need to peak right now. And they aren't talented enough to sustain a high level of play for a long time, really.

Need these younger guys to learn as they go. Taylor has jumped James on the depth chart- Shaw might be next. Badgers have quite the stable of tailbacks. Better solve that fumbling big issue though...

James looked good I thought.  Nice cuts and quickness.

Shaw had a solid year last season but let's not forget Taiwan Deal did a couple of years ago also.

Taylor is clearly deserving of a lot of touches.

Agreed.  Very sloppy.  No matter what happens, we'll be slipping in the polls this week.  I mean Taylor had great effort, but you could just see the strip coming.

We slipped 1 place, still in the top 10.
