…because it’s damn good football
…because we can see which of these teams the Pack will play on the Super Bowl.
…because based on geography, Fedya SHOULD be a Bills fan, except for that pesky outstanding warrant in Buffalo.

I'm closer to Foxboro than Orchard Park.
No warrants in Foxboro?
You people (TM) burned out on football?
Nope, I'm here for every play of every game as they dwindle down to a precious few.
Hamlin still down! Not good ☹️
Interesting note: If Bengals lose tonight and then beat Baltimore next week they would play each other the next week. Bengals a 3rd seed and Ravens a 6th seed.
No it's not, players certainly reacting much more than I've ever seen before. The one replay I saw didn't look like he took a hard shot or anything to his head.
I hope Hamlin is okay, the tears I see from his teammates make me think whatever happened to him is possibly life threatening.
Awful.
Joe just said they have been doing CPR for 9 minutes. Not good.
Administering CPR.
Please God don’t let us have seen a young man die on the field.
Look like he took a lot of the hit to his chest.
This is horrible. I can’t even
Game temporarily suspended
Let’s let this remind us not to wish concussions on guys players like a few folks did yesterday…suspending game right now.
Commotio Cordis is my guess. It's a direct hit to the chest at exactly the wrong time and causes a fatal arrhythmia. Very rare and really bad.
I agree, suspend the game. At least for a bit.
That didn't look like a concussion initially. He got a very hard hit in his upper chest and the personnel on the field kept pointing to their chest area when motioning to other medical staff. He was conscious and moving arms at legs at first, then quickly deteriorated to CPR.
This is horrific and way beyond the game. Jerseys don't matter, rivalries don't matter. He needs to be okay.
I think he was dead as he was falling to the ground.
Canx the game
WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED?????
Praying

His legs and arms were initially moving when on the ground, they didn't start CPR until several minutes later. They were administering oxygen as he was loaded into the ambulance.
Praying!! This is awful
Sorry, am watching now…….sorry. 🙏🏻 🙏🏻 🙏🏻 🙏🏻 🙏🏻
Hopefully, this ends up in a Christian Eriksen situation. Eriksen is back playing after his heart stopped during a game a couple of years ago.
Hank Gathers type feeling
Neflixing with the Mrs, glad I did not deer it.
Hope for the best
I don’t blame Buffalo one bit if they just decide to call it a night and forget trying to play. This is emotional to watch even as a fan. I can’t even imagine what it must be like for the players/coaches/families.
I decided to just watch my wife’s shows this evening. Thank goodness!

Sanjay Gupta discussing this scenario on CNN.

I know there are some posters here that are / have been first responders. And that you're one of them.
Jesus fuck, I hope you're wrong.
Given we're on Monday before Week 18, my guess is the NFL temporarily suspends the game for up to two hours. If there is any word from the hospital that Hamlin is in stable condition, they will play. If it's the same or worsening condition from when he left the field, they'll cancel the game (highly likely--and they should).

Sad deal. CPR that long. Young man needs a miracle
It might be a different injury, but it takes me right back to scenes of Gil Haskell, Tim Lewis, etc. That shit is chilling every time it's conjured up in my memory. I hope the kid is ok.
Cancel the game. Talk about scheduling it at a later date.
It's not surprising that he wasn't breathing given the situation. The question will be how long it actually took to get his pulse back. I'm not sure how long they were actually doing CPR. If CPR was started and AED used quickly, that's the best scenario. Likely during CPR they were attempting to intubate him as he wouldn't be breathing. If in fact this was from Commotio Cordis (explained above) and not from an underlying heart condition and everything goes well, he could be just fine.
