It's not like he was calling audibles all day. That was the game plan.

For a guy not audibling he sure spends a lot of time barking instructions and moving players around. In the first half he looked really creative and in charge. In the second half, it looked like MM ball.

This kind of feels like the Cardinals loss where MM was fired afterwards. Going to be tough for the team to recoup on the flight and be ready for the Jets. Should be a gimmie, but so was this one… especially up 20-3.

The Giants are 4-1 so, no.

Given travel back to the States and early Sunday game i expect the Jets won’t be a pushover.  It’s quickly becoming put up or shut up time for the Packers.

I totally agree.  Their WR group is probably better than any the Pack has faced since the Vikings game.  In the past Zach Wilson has been a guy who has turned it over a lot.  But the Pack hasn’t really had a ton of INTs this year and I don’t know that they can take advantage of his tendency to turn the ball over.

20-10, never 20-3

Not sure I can find a plus.   Maybe Lazard and Cobb.   Maybe.

Minus   The 3 passes once the Giants tied it up.   Not even close on any.  Sends a gassed D right back out there.

Not running at the goal line at the end.

Amari Rodgers needs to grab some bench. Hopefully with an Arena Football team. That is all he is good for.

I think MLF is a guy like MM and Paul Chryst. The difference is that MM won a title, but that was in large part to having a defense with playmakers. Woodson, Collins, Truman, and Shields not only were good cover corners, but they made plays. Rasul Douglas made plays last year, but for as good as a guy like Jaire is, he and the other corners aren't good at generating turnovers.

Woodson had 38 interceptions in 100 Packer games and returned 9 for TDs.

Nick Collins had 21 interceptions in 95 games and returned 4 for TDs. He had a pick-six in the Super Bowl.

Tramon had 30 in 160 games and I pick-six. He had a pick-6 to swing a playoff game.

Compare that to Savage (8 in 50 games) and Jaire (6 in 51). No pick sixes. Stokes has 1 interception in 20 games.

Barry's scheme is designed to make the other team string together long drives in the expectation that they'll make a mistake to end the drive. That didn't happen today.

That was Pettine's scheme as well. Why fire him and bring in his twin? Because he was a crony hire?

Gray needs to be DC. NOW

I get that, I really do, but a lot of mistakes were made by the secondary as well. Douglas committed key penalties at bad times. And I thought that Barkley was limited until his run through the secondary. How much of that was Barry’s fault with play calling or by the coverage? I don’t know. We did not expect Jones to be able to run and he did it at key times.

- MLF abandoning the run?? Why?!?!?

- Randall Cobb is the current #1 WR on this team. Not a knock on Cobb, he's doing what he can.

- Rodgers isn't RAHJAZ anymore. His deep passes are worse than Favre right now. Some of his sideline throws aren't any better.

- The "Bend but don't break" defense just broke. Now what, MLF??

- I called the 3 & out to my wife after the Giants tied it.

+ I bet Packers under 10.5 wins for the season

+ Joe Barry is still DC to help secure that

I don’t know if Stokes is going through a sophomore slump but as good as Doubs has been he shouldn’t be beating him like a drum in practice and camp.  That says more about his regression than Doubs impressing.

Jaire doesn’t have picks because teams don’t throw at him.  Still, it’s a lot easier to target him when he’s 6 or 7 yards off the ball.

Savage is basically Ha Ha Dix at this point.  Flashes early on but inconsistent as hell and prone to making a lot of mistakes.

I would gladly take a Darren Sharper type player that pads stats because at least he caught the ball.  Our DBs must have the worst ball skills in football.

I do agree though this team lacks playmakers that force turnovers.  Coming into today the Packers were -3 in the TO ratio.  No stat is more predictive of W/L than turnovers.

The biggest issue now is that the league has seen how big a hole Adams really left and it will allow more teams to load the box whenever needed like tue Giants to make MLF think he can’t run through it (even though he can).

Week 5: 0 points in 2nd half

That's been a recurring issue.

starting to really wonder about anyone named Rodgers. I may need a Jones jersey and retire my current #12. The 2014 Aaron Rodgers is long gone. When was the last time he dazzled? led a come back? completed a long TD pass? escaped the pocket to make a big throw or run?

Hitting timing passes, heaving deep incompletes and sulking on the bench - what hes doing currently - is something any NFL QB could do.

Im wondering now if he's actually a detriment to this team at this point.

He and MLF really need to figure this out ASAP. how much say does he have in playcalling? Does this need to be reigned in? There were drives in the 2nd quarter where we were humming and had the D off balance. Then when adversity hits we slip back into that awful panic mode throw deep sideline routes that just kill us.

Superstar Aaron Rodgers just may be gone

From a decade of bad hires of ST coaches to bad hires of DC's this is one messed up organization that sticks too long with those bad hires.

Heck, I was warned by several people about the hiring of Barry. He is what they said he was.

And MLF and AR getting this offense shut down for such long stretches is embarrassing.

They continue to not handle success well.  Were they 10pt favorites again today?  8.5?  They always play to the level of their competition.

This team has been the little dutch boy at the dam since 2014.  Plug one hole and another one springs.  Fix the O and the D craps the bed. Fix D then ST craps the bed.  Fix the ST then both O and D crap the bed.

If they don't right the ship, that game when DAL/MM return to Lambeau is going to be way too interesting.

MM/JJ have surrounded MM with some pretty good coordinators.

The offense should have performed better, clearly. The lack of using Jones and Dillon is almost criminal at this point. However, despite that, this loss was mainly on the defense. They had a big talent edge on the Giants offense and our defensive coordinator had a game plan that is typically designed to protect a defensive backfield that can't play aggressive in coverage. It's a simple, soft zone coverage that usually prevents guy from running wide open on blown coverages, but is susceptible to throws underneath and guys sitting down in the middle of zones for easy throws when there is no pressure. They allowed a pedestrian QB with backup WRs to score on 5 drives without the benefit of a turnover or poor special teams play to give up field position.

When the Giants wanted to prevent the Packers from scoring, they went zero coverage and forced the ball out early. When the Giants were faced with the same situation, Barry would basically playing a defense just slightly more aggressive than prevent. One stop on either the drive after the Packers went up 17-3 or the the drive when they were up 20-10 to start the second half would have changed the whole complexion of the game.

How long before 12 starts ignoring his coach like he did his previous coach?

For all we know he just may have done that some already. In his post game presser, Matt mentioned that he is ok with Rodger’s making his adjustments at the line.

THIS! Can Barry. He's a fool.

The Packers ran the same goddamn soft zone coverage scheme against the Vikings but at least Minnesota has Jefferson and Thielen.  The Giants have NOBODY at WR yet they made GB look really stupid.
