The OL could have been better, but the QB play has an effect on them as well. Take a look at these RB statistics. That happens because of great run blocking. We'll see what the NFL scouts think, but I'll bet there at least 3 future NFL players on the OL right now.
Hornibrook/Coan threw 17 TD and 13 interceptions against defenses that were playing 8 in the box to stop the run. A lot of the sacks were on blitzes because teams don't have to fear a downfield passing game at all. The completions are mostly back shoulder and TEs across the middle. Hornibrook doesn't have the arm strength to throw deep outs or post patterns. Losing Cephas didn't help, but the QB play was atrocious.
Put an average Big 10 QB on this team (think Sorgi) and this is probably a 10-2 team. Put Russell Wilson on this team and they don't lose.
