You would think that but really it means more I hope and pray for divine intervention in the middle of this defense, that Joe Barry isn’t a moron and some otherworldly play on the offense.

Why bother Boris.  After all, the NFL is just so much tougher to succeed because it’s just that much more physical than the game of basketball and ultimately the NBA.

Randy Moss, Antonio Gates, Tony Gonzales and Julius Peppers might have something t to say about that.

I also thought the narrative about the NBA was it was all about thugs and criminals.  Oh it’s the NFL instead and has been for a while?  Got it.

The best part is the players and owners actually collectively bargained they stand for the anthem.  So the NBA players are real Americans.  Not those pansy ass commies in the NFL.  But hey, let’s play or claim fake patriotism with flyovers and big ole flag displays before games.

OK the last part was a bit much but people trashing or diminishing the NBA in favor of the NFL is just a dumb and lazy take.

One league has international appeal, while the other forces teams to play overseas thinking people will hop on board (they won’t).  One league has a good relationship with the Union and players and owners and the other acts like it’s the Cold War.  I could go on and on.

Mark Cuban is a genius for a reason.  The NFL will be dead and buried in 10 years.  Enjoy it while you can folks especially the “last stand 2021 GBP”

Honestly Hank the “less physical” thing might be next level dumb shit stuff.  This coming from a guy that’s drunk posted a lot of stupid shit.

You need to see an NBA game court side and appreciate the level of athleticism and physical nature especially under the hoop.

The NFL protects a lot of offensive players including QBs.  If any of them had to go toe to toe with Jrue Holiday or PJ Tucker they would probably get their ass kicked.

Rodgers knows he’s winning the PR battle every time a story about Adams, ZSmith, whoever being disgruntled comes out

Is he?  The more this goes on the more they all look like childish brats.  Might get your "likes" up for the social media morons but from where I sit it all looks kinda petty.

Sign a contract or don't.  Leave or don't.  Play or don't.  I'm sick of hearing about it.

Give Rodgers exactly what he wants, and AR will be the QB of a team without the Smiths, and likely no Adams or Alexander.

Can't pay them all what they want.

You’re saying Rodgers is in it for the money when it’s pretty much clearly established it isn’t?

Pretty sure the whole point of Rodgers getting assurances is the Packers would get cap space in return.

And that guy is full of shit.  They’ve been straddling the fence if not bending towards “build for the future”.  Just like Rodgers said, his MVP season threw a wrench in their plans.  Ignoring obvious holes in the defense while drafting a replacement QB, RB and TE in the 1st 4 rounds is not going “all in”.

Twitter is a cesspool of numb nuts.

Zero evidence to support this line of thinking.

I believe he wants a commitment & guarantees, but he's not giving up any money to get that.

It’s always about the money.  It should be given how much money these teams and owners rake in and all the safety risks associated with playing football.

But you know it’s also about respect. Rodgers is a hyper sensitive guy and his greatest strength is also his greatest weakness.  The guy is super arrogant/confident which makes him great playing QB but in trying times it doesn’t help resolve issues.

At this point, we just need closure one way or the other. If Rodgers wants out make it happen already.  If he’s open to returning then bury the fucking hatchet and move forward.

If I signed a contract and all of a sudden outperformed that contract, my employer wouldn't give a crap. They would wave that contract and say, "You signed. Shut up and work or I'll see you in court." We are talking astronomical amounts of money here for football players playing a game and putting their bodies on the line, but firefighters, police officers, farmers, electrical line workers, and more put their bodies and lives on the line for a heck of a lot better reasons for a heck of a lot less money. If they want more money or to worry less about their bodies, they change professions. I'm tired of listening to pampered football players -- heck, pampered athletes -- cry about wanting more money for what they do. Don't sign the contract in the first place. Quit if you don't like it now. Get over yourself Rodgers, Smith, and whoever else.

The way I understand it, even as minority owner of the Milwaukee Bucks, he didn’t attend any playoff games in Milwaukee during the run to the NBA Championship.

If that is the case, that sounds like a guy trying to begin to sever ties to this state.  Maybe he actually came to some games and I missed it, but I thought his absence was just kind of weird.  Heck I remember sitting across the floor from him at a playoff game vs the Raptors some years back.

Anyways, it’s just more useless speculation on my part, but I would think if he didn’t have any crazy plans different than his typical offseason activities, he would have come to the Bucks games.

I don't think Rodgers was at any Bucks play off games. If he were there, do you think the TV networks, broadcasting the games, would have missed an opportunity to plaster Rodgers's face all over the airwaves?

Owners box, out of view, is my guess.

What fun is that?

I think I figured out Goalline's motivations.  He's opening a Fanta snowcone cart on the sledding hill.  So the more time Murphy spiffs up those hills the more his Fanta dreams come true.  Just ignore he's using snow from the sled hill.  There may be some surprises inside.  It's kind of like a fucked up Cracker Jacks.

I’d just drink all the profits anyway, so that ain’t it.

Henry playing the fact vs opinion game. I would have thought that would be beneath you. Rodgers has turned Henry into a BITCH.

Rodgers probably ensured that there will be 3 times the media members at Packer practices at least for the first few weeks. He is singlehandedly stimulating the hospitality-based economy in the Fox River Valley this summer. The Applebees are going to be that much busier.
