Saladino hit the ball last year... letβs see if he can again.
I like the salad. Wondering if they are showcasing him for inclusion in a possible trade.
The Brewers have managed to hang in there so far this year despite mediocre to (at times) piss poor pitching and injuries and inconsistent play. What I am hoping for is they can make a couple of moves and go on a run after the AS break as you know the Cubs and Cards will come alive st some point.
Bet they add both a starter and a closer. Both high level players. They didn't add Yelich, Cain, Moose & Yaz for nothing. I think Atanasio is all in, and Stearns will make it all happen. Possibly emptying the farm, but, they know we need pitching in order to win a World Series.
The impact of these trades is immense this year. Stearns will get his best value deal in trading for a starter with couple years team control. I think Smith to MKE happens as a rental. Can't happen soon enough.
Arcia available? Might be a better move dollar wise to move him with Dubon and Keston?
Turang is 19 and playing for Timber Rattlers already. Selling high on Arcia might be wise move?
Great win by Brewers today. Eric Thames & Ben Gamel save the day! Great defense & pitching too.
Hiura wwith homer and another hit too. Brewers lead Cinncy 6-3 in the 7th.
MYP with some breathing room.
Whew! We needed the breathing room too! Great win.
Hader picked a good night to be off.
Maybe, just maybe, Adrian Houser can step in and solidify the rotation?
The All Star break can't come too soon. The Brewers are horrible right now.
Shut out in back to back games. Going back to Tuesday night, shut out for 23 consecutive innings.
6 for 59 with 2 walks and 1 one extra base hit (Yelich's double today) over the last two.
1 for 15 with 2 doubles and a walk in the last 5 innings of Tuesday's game.
Wasted two great outings by the pitching staff.
If either the Brewers or Cubs were even playing good ball (not great) since June 1, that team would have a nice lead in the division. A hot streak in the last 5 weeks by either and they'd have a substantial lead going into the Break. But neither wants it right now, and they're letting the Cards, Pirates and (gulp!) Reds hang around.

I am reminded of last year. Swept in a 4 game series by the Pirates. I don't remember the details, but the last game was especially brutal.
Never would have imagined the Reds to be this competitive. DJ has a lot to do with that I think.

1 for 10 to start the game. Now up to 26 consecutive scoreless innings for the Brewers offense. 8 for their last 84 at the plate.
Pitching is keeping them in it at least.
That pitching is really doing the job! Guerra is a name to never be spoken again. Make sure they have no chance to reproduce!!!! Ever!! This is a snake bitten team right now. Constantly looking for a new way to lose each night.
Saladino making me yearn for Sogard!!
Hateful.
The pitching will get fixed. Glad they hung in for the win.
Shaw got two home runs last night

Fixed meaning both Guerra's 'Fixed' to not be able to procreate?
Time for Stearns to decide in or out. No more trials with fire starters.
Pena and Jesus with rare dingers. Jesus had better start healing the sick or demonic Shaw will be playing in a town near us soon.
