I've questioned Mike McCarthy on several things. His play calling at points, his time management. I've always liked him as a man, I've just questioned if he was capable of winning it all.

I will fess up. He still does things that will make me nuts, but to go 10-6 in the regular season with a MASH unit of a roster, and now win 4 "playoff" games in a row, knocking out Vick and Ryan in the process...I give all the credit in the world to Mike McCarthy. I guess that's why he's paid the big bucks to coach, and I'm sitting here watching the game/posting on an internet forum.

Jeebus. Earlier this year? It's a weekly pattern with you. You can look it up.

LS...ha ha. "Seriously, is there a worse coach in the NFL?"

PFFT.

And Sep's got his buffoon.

Blah, blah, blah.
I've maintained all year this offense still had the weapons to put up 40+ on anybody. Even without Finley and Grant.

Defense was holding teams to 20 points or less and for whatever reason the offense underperformed many weeks this season. They should have been outscoring teams.

Tonight was awesome.

Gebins to the offense.

SCORE SOME POINTS!!!!!!

Nowhere to be found. Check in next week if this team loses.

Lots of cowards on the interwebs.

Nailed it Brak.

Losing kills all of us.

Only showing-up to piss and moan when things are bad and then disappearing during the good times is just freaking strange.

Hey, I admit I went way overboard in my criticism of MM. I'm an emotional guy. When somebody screw up, I overreact. When somebody plays great, they're the next Joe Montana (well, Aaron is...but that's besides the point).

McCarthy's team trusts him. Maybe I should, too.

It's alright, I felt the same way about McCarthy. A lot of people did. He's been coaching much better in the 2nd half of the season.

At least you're here admitting you were wrong. There are lots of people that are avoiding this forum right now because they've been betting AGAINST this team. Sad existence...
We watched the game at a sports bar in Flower Mound tonite (where Donald Driver lives, btw). Biggest damned screen I've ever watched a football game on. I could literally count the # of teeth I saw in McCarthy's smile tonite. Almost as satisfying as the win was seeing McCarthy so happy. He deserves this. Huggy bear did such a great job preparing his team, and what an offensive game plan!

Good for you, Mike. I'm happy for ya.
Playcalling is still suspect to me at times. Granted, watching on tv noone can be certain how a play was supposed to pan out. But, this WR screen we keep seeing against disciplined teams who can tackle well? I'm not getting that at all. If the goal is that 2-3 yard gain then kudos, but it isn't playing to the strength of your offense. These wideouts need to get the ball on the move and create-it's what they're best at.

As far as keeping this team together, battling through the injuries, and keeping their heads up during those lean times during games, MM has done an outstanding job. Even with the big name players on both sides of the ball, this is truly a team, with numerous players stepping up each week. McCarthy is a big big part of that as well.

There just may be the chance that some posters may be away from the computer. I know I was SUPPOSED to be (we didn't stay overnight where we watched the game like we were going to).

Seems like some have a burr in their saddle tonight after a great win. I thought we were supposed to enjoy the journey?
I've certainly been a bit negative at times as I look at the team with a skeptical eye.

Probably the #1 time where I really thought it was all over for TT and MM was after the Tampa loss in 2009. Since that point though, they both have proven they are worthy of their jobs and frankly, they might even have to be considered exceptional at their crafts.

Yes, agreed, Tobin, it is sad. But I will never bet against this team. Win or lose, I love the Packers, and watch every game (now on the computer if I can't see it on TV); I am steadfast in my support. I might be a little nuts at times, but I bleed green and gold, always will.
