qb position is all politics. Mostly old retreads and high picks given a lot of rope to hang themself.

Bills had Losman, who did ok but tthen realized was never going to be that great. Then had Edwards who they drafted high and gave a ton of playing time because of where he was drafted and now he already fell out of favor.

O'Sullivan and Hill were given starting nods even though lesser players than Nall and quickly fizzled.

So I am content with Nall retiring with a great qb rating 5tds 0ints. Statistically Favres best backup. Theres no reason he shou ldnt be at least a backup in the league. I'm sure if I went through the rosters I would rather have him than 80% of the teams #2 qbs.

There goes ikkkon showing us that reality again. I guess you forgot was a back up to TOG. I think he put up some pretty good stats the last 2 years.
stats say different.

Thought of the day. In Favres Packer career had 15 non losing seasons. Without him it would have been lucky to be even half that.

The stupid thing about the hate on him, is those who are the loudest about hating him, for reasons invented in their heads, will be the first to proclaim that they forgive him, as if anyone cares about their opinion or their bogus belief system that fuels their ignorance. Thus is the life of the happy wanderer.
After some research, the qb I am throwing my support behind for the mid rounds is..............

Florida Atlantic QB Rusty Smith. Ideal size, decent arm, under the radar from being in a smaller conference, under the radar because he missed time because of injury on his non-throwing shoulder. Top attitude and leadership. Would be a good guy for MM to develop.
Film study on potential olb
-----------------------------

The guy that stands out the most to me is Graham by far.

imo Griffen is more suited as a 4-3 end. And it concerns me somewhat all his rushing I saw was from the right side, but they need a lolb.

Kindle I am a bit torn on. Kind of overrated and seems unintelligent.

Hughs seems kind of like Kindle to me but with a better head on his shoulders. Dosen't seem anywhere near as physical as Graham to me.
You know things are bad with the Brewers when people are clamoring for Dale Sveum. Thats embarrassing. Yes Macha is average at best but the blame is with Melvin. I called for Melvin's firing 2 years ago.

They wait way too long to fire Yost so Melvin can save his ass. Then for whatever reason is in love with Macha even after he jilted him once.

Shaky manager, shaky GM, overrated farm system, inability to advance starting pitchers. And thats where things are at.
Current Wisconsin sports beefs on uniforms/logos

- Brewers logo. How hard would it be to simply use the ball and glove logo with the new color system. Why is that such a hard solution for these pinheads to realize. Its one of the greatest logos in sports and the one associated with hall of famers like Molitor and Yount.

Instead they want to call it "retro" so they have a second set of merchandise to shill on people.

Is there that much affinity to a hand written M with barley under it. This would be like if the Packers witched their logo to a differnt G with a sausage casing under it after they rename Lambeau field, Johnsonville Stadium.

- The Bucks uniforms. They got the red and green part right but the font style is awful and they kept the same logo from the purple and green ones but just put a triangle behind it. They had an opportunity to wipe the slate clean and go with a look more like the oscar robertson era ones and are now locked into these ones at least a handful more years.

- The Golden Eagles. Because the limp wristed politicaly correct morons want to throw all of the teams history in the toilet out of fear of offending someone. I could see redskins being slightly distastefull, but Warriors? Really? Being called a warrior is offensive? All the problems in the world, disease, hunger, wars, and people have time to be offended being called a warrior.

The admins then conduct a poll where 92% of the students wanted the Warriors nickname, but they ignored those results and randomly decide to make the nickname "Gold". The students and fans react harshley to that so the admins now say they will have another poll. Only this time they won't even have an option to vote for Warriors which won with 92% the last time

In the end after all that embarrassment they decide to just leave it as Golden Eagles when its clearly not what people want. Wouldn't a really simple compromise just be to leave it as Warriors but change the logo to a white guy with a sword. Ridiculous.
