I would be interested in knowing how much the Packers have in contrast to the guaranteed money allowed contracts to go their course. I would think they're high on that list...
The teams that (seemingly) wildly overspend, especially guaranteed monies, on marginal/unproven/proven to suck players whores up the FA market and tag prices.
I'd like to see a new formula for calculating these tag costs in the next CBA, but that's unlikely to happen if the NFLPA objects. To me, it's not fair to 2/3 of the teams in the league to practice solid cap management, yet essentially get penalized having to pay more to retain their own FAs.
