Matt LaFleur says #Packers "potentially" get LT David Bakhtiari, OLB Za'Darius Smith and CB Jaire Alexander back to practice this week. Yes, there is a chance. This team gets scary good if it adds three All-Pro talents at premium positions down the stretch.

Dagger on winning the SB!

For context, if #Packers return David Bakhtiari, Za’Darius Smith and Jaire Alexander for stretch run, they go from being in a crowded pack of contenders to the clear Super Bowl favorite. Not just to represent the NFC. To win the whole thing.

So a fairly significant development.

Pull the other one.

Jordan Love has said he is vaccinated. So while the NFL does not confirm positive tests, this is a positive test for Jordan Love because vaccinated players are not placed on this list as close contacts

Can any of them kick field goals?

I think Love was on COVID list last year?  Or am I imagining that.

OK, I was thinking maybe it was last year. Then I thought it was Love and Dillon. Then I thought, no that's not right. Dillon and Barnes? Then I gave up.

I don’t completely buy Mr. Wood’s assessment.

I still think the Bucs are the team to beat until someone beats them. They’re the reigning champs, they have most of the same team back from last season, their O-line doesn’t let their QB get sacked, they have a decent run game to go with their passing, the have arguably the best defense in the league, they’re experienced, they will not be afraid to play anyone on the road regardless of the temperature/elements, and I believe they have as good a chance as anyone to win out the regular season.  Would love to see Buffalo go into Tampa next week and win but I don’t see it.

Packers have been mostly great this season, and getting back one of those players would be a huge impact, let alone all three.  I just don’t see how that separates them from TB or makes them the CLEAR SB favorite.  Just my opinion.

Not to be the “turd in the punch bowl”, but………

MLF has been great in his 2+ years as HC.  One of the best starts in the history of the NFL.  Particularly impressed with this season given all of the injuries, distractions, etc.  Hell of a choice by the front office.

That said, his two games coming out of the bye week have been utter disasters,  in 2019 they got pounded by the Niners in SF 37-8.  Last season they went down to Tampa and got crushed by the Bucs 38-10.

Both games on the road as opposed to this Sunday’s home game. And both games were to far superior teams than this year’s opponent.  But the fact is, his teams have laid eggs in consecutive seasons after the bye.  Need to fix that trend ASAP.  Would make the TBSS, their HC, their ownership, and their fans season to win in Lambeau.
