Monday practice:
Aaron Jones (hamstring) was back on the field after missing last Monday’s game.
Quay Walker (knee) and De’Vondre Campbell (ankle) were rehabbing outside.
Darnell Savage (calf) and Zayne Anderson (hamstring) were back practicing.

Denver is LAST in the NFL in scoring defense.
They gave up 70 points to Miami.
Denver's offense sputters with Russell Wilson at QB and is averaging just 17.5 points per game. It scored 8 points, after the game was already decided, in the latest loss to KC.
The Broncos lost to the Raiders, at home. They lost to the mediocre Washington Commanders at home. They lost to the Jets at home (despite the Jets being coordinated by Nathaniel Hackett who Denver head coach Sean Payton crowned a clown this past offseason).
Denver is so bad they were somehow behind 28-7 to the sad-sack Bears until Chicago let them come back and win. That may well be Denver’s lone win this season.
The talk in Denver is all about (A) how washed Wilson is, (B) how the franchise is at its lowest point perhaps ever and (C) which players are getting moved before the upcoming trade deadline.
With the Bears currently holding the first 2 picks in the 2024 draft, the Broncos are truly the saddest franchise in the NFL at the present time.
Meanwhile, Green Bay is coming off of a bye and, assuming Aaron Jones is able to play, is about as healthy as one could expect.
There is absolutely no reason for the Packers to lay another egg in Denver. None.
There was no reason vs. The raiders to lay an egg either....yet.... 🐔 🥚
If the Packers lose this game they might as well just lose them all this year.
If they don't start figuring things out from MLF to the long snapper, that may not take any special effort.

I agree with all you said in your post. But, for some reason I am very nervous about this game and it just feels like an egg laying is coming. Maybe its losing 3 of 4 games that has me feeling that way but if you look at it everything should be leaning the Packers way. They are getting healthy, the Broncos defense sucks, it won't be in prime time, Wilson has been terrible and apparently is feuding with his coach, and they have been dealing parts of their defense away.
So why do I feel this way? One way to get a struggling offense on track is to play against a defense led by one Joe Barry. And the Broncos do have some decent WRs on their roster and I can see if Barry goes soft shell again they could get some decent yards against them.
Packers have a history of playing well against good teams and playing shitty against shitty teams. I wouldn't be surprised at a tight game with the Joe Barry Carrol getting burned with a goal tending call late in the game.
I honestly don’t give two shits whether they win this game, that’s not the most important thing this season. What I want to see is Love getting back on track and maybe an offensive line shuffle that doesn’t get him killed. If that happens and Barry makes it a lot harder to not fire him I’m good with that.
At this point I have literally no idea what to expect from this team. Offense and defense just have no identity.
At least with the Hawkeyes I know what I'm going to get. Elite defense and special teams and a 1920's style offense. Still seems to be good enough for the B1G West.
15 yard penalty for taunting.
If the Packers lose this game I’m going to cry.
Don’t make a grown man cry.

I hope the remaining Iowa games are all on the Peacock channel.
early, early number, Green Bay favored on the road by 1.
i think the packers are in a tailspin and expect them to lose this game. hope to be proven wrong.
Key is Jones. If he is healthy and plays, Packers win. If Jones never got hurt, they'd be 4-1

At this point, I want to see them start correcting things that are 100% within their control. If they started to show some discipline, many things would take care of themselves. Idk that we can overcome the horrible coaching performance. But if they stop making stupid mistakes, they can compete with a good number of teams. A win is always good, but keeping Love's head above water is more important longterm. I have little confidence in the head coach right now to help his qb weather this storm.
I look at this year’s Packers schedule, some of our teams in the past decade would have gone like 14-3 or 15-2 vs a schedule this weak. There’s just a ton of bad teams on our schedule. The only problem is… this year we’re pretty close to being just as bad or worse than a number of them.
I think the Pack is better than the Broncos but I certainly could see how the Broncos could still win. If Broncos keep it close and our defense tires in the high altitude, I could see Russell Wilson still finding a way to pull a win out of his ass even though he clearly is in decline.
Joe Barry managed to shut Wilson out at Lambeau Field back in 2021, but I have my doubts that will happen again, especially on Wilson’s home field.
I hope we don’t get kicked by a donkey, nothing more dangerous than a wounded animal. Plus Mile High Stadium, beware of altitude sickness and a sherpa desertion.

Too many posters are still viewing this team as a veteran-laden team led by a HoF QB. They’re not.
They are basically the youngest roster in the league. I want to see Love make good decisions and hopefully play well. I want to see the WRs improve and the O-line show consistency. I’d like to see the young players on D make some noise. This season is about getting better and creating a nucleus. If they lose, oh well.
Payton and Russell's coming out party.

Still, I'll be holding my breath, most of the game. Will Preston get to cover Jeudy? Will we play down to the ineptitude of our opponent, as we have done, so many times, over the years? We ought to crush the Broncos and I hope we do just that. Hopefully, the time off we've had, has been put to good use.

I found out I still had a subscription after they had the Purdue game there.
I'd really like to see the 2nd half of the Bears game offense show up this week with Jones back in the lineup. But maybe for more than a half...
Denver defense played much better vs. KC last week. The last time Payton coached vs. MLF he won 38-3 ....I know he doesn't have his same team but.....

All time series between Packers and Broncos is tied at 7-7-1, I think. But the Packers are 1-6 in Denver. Also, Packers are something like 0-5 on a road game after the bye recently. So, yea I'm a bit worried about this game. Surely hope they can beat the trend and win this one.
Rumor has it she was transported back to her home planet.
Man, that is one unflattering picture.

I'd like to see Love making good decisions too.
The Packers are very young at the skill positions (offense), but they are a bit more seasoned on the defensive side. Honestly, for the most part, the D has played better/more consistently than the O.
The defense has overall played better than the offense , however they are still only "middle of the road" in comparison to the league. With 8 First Round draft choices on that side of the ball, and only 1 on offense, they have to be better than average.

Great to say Quay is back and Jones continues to practice. I will not hold my breath Jones plays until I see him actually active on game day, but no question it's just a very different offense with him in it.
There are also some rumblings whether the bye week would mean a shake up along the OL including moving Tom to Center. Not sure if that happens, but the interior OL has to play way better for Love feel comfortable.
Unfortunately, YTTV has me in the Detroit market.
I mean, no shit Matt?
LaFleur said the self-scout showed him that earlier down execution has put the offense in bad situations and that third and longs have been extremely detrimental. "It's one guy off here and one guy off there," he said. They're working on being dialed in and avoiding bumps early.

LaFleur said there is a trust factor that is involved with rookie RB Emanuel Wilson on things other than running the football that have affected his playing time. Said they still are high on him and that he's someone they continue to work in practice to get him ready.

The further we get into this season, the more I realize MLF might be in over his head. Aaron Rodgers did so much for this team & in the process probably helped the HC learn on the job. It's been 3 years Matt....Time to sink or swim. Here's the bottom line....
You simply CANNOT lose to the Denver Broncos. PERIOD! This is a bad football team even worse than the Raiders. You had your "oopsie" last week. You are coming off a bye week. A 2nd game in a row with plenty of rest for the players. Another game with Z-E-R-O excuses.
Win the fucking game....that is all.
AFA Emmanuel Wilson.....is it illegal to get him the ball on a swing pass with 2 OL in front of him?? Jeezus fuck.....this isn't rocket surgery
