From the comments page: I am not a G. Bolles fan but, in his defense; he is still a young player and still have room to improve. He is not the main reason the Broncos are 0-2. Their defense needs to do a better job against the run.
Packer defense is legit and don't see them struggling against Joe Flacco. Offense continues its progress and it's a reasonably comfortable win.
Packers 27
Broncos 13
#Packers coach Matt LaFleur said they're having a walk-through today because they are a little bit banged up and have a Thursday night game coming up after Sunday.

I see this game as a Cakewalk. Another snoozer.
3 weeks in a row against arguably a top 10 defense.
I really hope you are right, but I don't see a "cakewalk" at all. I am not swayed at all by the fact that the Broncos have not registered a sack yet. Between Vic Fangio's success against the Packers at both SF and CHI, and the presence of Von Miller and Chubb - combined with Rodgers' propensity for holding the ball way too long - this will be a very tough, physical game. Packers better not be too high after that win over the Queens, because they will need to be sharp against a dangerous team searching to avoid an 0-3 start.

Per Kevin Seifert, Eagles are doing the same thing today.
I want to be fully in on this defense being the real thing but I want to see a couple of more games first. If they can hold Denver and Philly under 20 points each then I'm gonna crown their asses.

I know it's early, but I see a clear difference in the MLF offense versus what MM had been rolling out the past 5-6 seasons.
No boot, no limp for Darnell Savage Jr. in the locker room today.

In SF Fangio had Willis & Bowman. Even so, minus the kaerperdinck game, SF never dominated the Pack. Y'all Forget the 23-20 playoff loss where Micah Hyde dropped a game sealing INT?
In Chicago, what "success" vs. the Pack? Rodgers always torches those fools.
Fangio is a good DC, that's obvious. I'm not falling for the "He's God vs Green Bay."
If the Packer O-Line blocks the Packers win. It's pretty simple.
Even if the Packers lose, it's an AFC loss & means little to nothing in the grand scheme.
Yup.
2-0 division.
2-0 conference.
Also, this is the 3rd preseason game, so I expect the offense will show a little more regular season form.
Packdog posted:Since he entered the league in 2017, Broncos left tackle Garrett Bolles has been penalized for holding 16 times. Those are just the penalties that were accepted, though. Two of Bollesâ four holding penalties on Sunday were declined so he was only credited with two. He also held a fifth time but the penalty was incorrectly credited to guard Ron Leary. So, based on the numbers, itâs not surprising that Bolles has a reputation for holding. Speaking to media members Monday, Denver coach Vic Fangio indicated that Bolles may need to respond better to coaching.
âHeâs just got to be a little bit more technique sound,â Fangio said. âI think he suffers from â you know, he thinks heâs in good position sometimes and dumps the guy at the end and thinks itâs a legal block. âWe have to do a better job of explaining that to him. Heâs got to do a better job of listening to the explaining.
But I think he can.âGuy sounds like a mess. Time to meet the Smith Bros !!!
Good thing Bolles was already potty trained when they got him.

This offense is not the same offense Fangio saw when he was with 40Whiners or daBears. What happened in the past means absolutly zilch.

I don't know about that. Seems like he's sh!t himself during the game several times already in his young career.
#Packers announce following roster moves:
â Matt Schneidman (@mattschneidman) September 19, 2019
- Trade WR Trevor Davis to Oakland
- Promote TE Evan Baylis to 53
- Sign WR Keon Hatcher to P-squad
Baylis promotion related to Graham's groin injury, which appears to be a real problem. Like what Gutey's done but the Jimmy Graham signing hasn't worked out well for him.
Isn't Baylis a lot like Tonyan in regards to build? Glad Fling-a-Fack is onboard.
Matt LaFleur said Jimmy Graham's groin bothered him Sunday but "he fought through it." Sounds like Graham could miss Sunday vs. Denver, but LaFleur said "I think in the long run he'll be all right."
This should be a good opportunity for Tonyan. If he has any possibility to morphing into a number 1 TE, show that shit now. He had a great pass and catch last year against the Hags IIRC that went for a TD and a 28 yard completion in week 1. It's also time for AR to figure out a way to get this kid the ball.
He's the fastest amongst this group (minus Sternberger who's on IR). He can't be any worse of a blocker than Graham. This should be his Wally Pip moment
TE Evan Baylis will be promoted from the practice squad, which is why he has switched his number to 88 from his previous No. 49. It's a sign the Packers are concerned about Jimmy Graham's groin injury. pic.twitter.com/4nlTLwZLrJ

Plus, that big arrow will make it easier for Rodgers to spot him on the field.

Nope, Tonyan ran a 4.58 to Sternberger's 4.75
Proverbs 27:17, âAs Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens anotherâ
New offense facing 3 of the better defenses from 2018 is going to prove helpful down the road. Tough sledding for the O so far but itâs going to get better.
I think Jimmy Graham in street clothes isnât hurting anything. I donât think Tonyan is a better blocker but heâll make a better effort and is more dynamic as a pass threat.
I think the NFL is catching on that Aaron Jones is massive matchup nightmare thatâs only going to get worse in MLFs offense.
I hope Kumerow gets more snaps now that Davis has been sent away. Finally.
While I LOVED seeing the few times Rodgers lined up under center in the Chicago opener and watching Chicago try figure it out was fun. I didnât expect to see it expand the way it did against Minny. Minny didnât expect it either.
New film is not easy to game plan for if the QB is Rodgers.

And this from Broncos coach Vi Fangio Wednesday on the prospect of facing Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers this week: "He is one of the best of all time, there's not a lot that's given him a lot of trouble. One of the definitions of a great quarterback is there is really no one way to play him. So, we just have to mix it up on him. He's a great passer, quick release, great arm strength, mobile, scrambler, creator, and he's a great player.'' Fangio also said Rodgers has "athletic arrogance, which is a compliment. He just thinks he can do it.'' After two games the Broncos defense has no sacks and has not forced a turnover. Moments later Fangio was asked if he had concerns over the team's pass rush and he said: "Not at this point, one thing I will say is I was disappointed in our rush on the last drive (in the loss to the Bears). But prior to that in these first two games, they've been unusual games as it relates to pass rush.''
The Smith Bros. should be licking their chops:
Jeff Legwold ESPN Senior Writer
On left tackle Garett Bolles' struggles with penalties -- five holding penalties in the first two games, including four this past Sunday in the loss to the Bears -- Broncos coach Vic Fangio said: "We talked to him early in the week, (offensive line coach) Mike (Munchak) did the bulk of it, I talked to him a little bit, I'm sure he's heard everybody else's comments indirectly, he knows what he's up against and what he has to do.'' On how much patience the Broncos would have with Bolles moving forward, Fangio said: "A good amount.''
The Donkeys don't have anyone else. Time to make 'em pay!
Buy a point & give Denver +6.5....Pack by 7
Yesterday's injury report was not particularly good.
Hope these guys can work through it by Sunday.
If we come out as fast as we did vs. Vikes, I don't see Denver being able to come back
Today's has cleaned up.
Three #Packers players not practicing Thursday: TE Jimmy Graham (groin), DL Montravius Adams (shoulder) and ILB Oren Burks (pectoral).
â Ryan Wood (@ByRyanWood) September 19, 2019
WR Jake Kumerow, who was listed as a hypothetical DNP yesterday with a shoulder, did practice.

I read someplace that Baylis was halfway decent as a blocking TE. And he has been on the PS so he probably knows the offense. I liked him in his limited time in preseason. I expect that he can help on Sunday.
Like everybody, I knew that Graham couldn't block but gave him a pass because his pass-catching abilities could be exceptional. No matter the reason, the pass-catching isn't anywhere near where it needs to be so fuck that guy.
I want to see Tonyan lining up at #1. Get it done young man.
I'd like to see the TE used in the passing offense. We've got enough on the roster, so let's see them in the passing game. Maybe it was that Graham was hurt/done, but hopefully Tonyan gets a shot. It's the only way we'll find out if he can play or not.

I definitely like the chances more vs. Denver than Philly. Wentz will be the best QB they've faced so far plus I think the Eagles have the best O-Line the Pack has faced.
Philly is all banged up. Wentz was running for his life last week. Our new defense should be harassing Wentz all night long. For Denver, our O line has to be up to stopping Chubb and Miller before they get to Rodgers. Rodgers needs to get rid of the ball more quickly than he has. Cover their WRs, in Sutton and Sanders, and we should be good. 4-0 sounds really good! GO PACK, GO!!!
