I just want the Packers to look good, if they get beat by the better Chiefs team, then fine, but the Chiefs haven’t looked that good the last few weeks.
â™Ĩïļ 💚 💛

That brings me to my observation - there are a lot of bad teams this year.  The 49'ers looked like SB champs the first few weeks, but they're beatable.  The Chiefs are beatable.  There are no dominant teams and a spattering of mediocre.  Honestly, this hasn't been a good season to watch football outside of GB's games.  I've got 0 urge to watch any other games, and I haven't.

Ok even with Vikings losing tonight, (now 6-6) the Packers are going to be hard pressed to beat the Chiefs. However.....as Packerboi pointed out the Packers are 15-0 under LeFleur in December. That's a crazy stat. It's the NFL and any team can beat any team.

Let's say after Sunday Packers are 5-7. Still 5 games left against inferior teams including the Bears and Vikings, Panthers, Bucs and Giants.

Lotta football to play & the Pack has their work cut out for them but it's going to be fun watching these last 6 games.

P'boi touched on this on his practice update post, but I'll add a little more info.

From si.com Eric Stokes designated for return.

It doesn't sound like Stokes will be playing this weekend, but barring any setbacks during practice, maybe the last 4 (+?) games this year.

I had forgot that Savage had also been Designated To Return. He could be back sooner rather than later.

There is a new technology sweeping the world.   It’s called Artificial Intelligence.

Even though it’s artificial, it’s more palatable than Packers Ricks Love drunk optimism.

There's nothing more artificial than your intelligence.

Love will be a star and in 2 years you'll be the guy saying, "I told you so". You have incredibly astute hindsight.

Also gotta like how the shoulder numbers don't match the front numbers. And they seem to be upside down or inside out or something.

At least there was no attempt to draw a hand and fingers.

Yep. It looks like 12 has 5 fingers and a thumb. Taylor has 5 fingers and a thumb too.   She also appears to have 1 glove and one mitten.

My post history is here for your review.    I love being wrong when I misjudge a players ability.

I'll save you the time.  I was RONG on Gary but still prefer that 1rst round picks be used on players that you expect to contribute / start right away because of the money management aspect.

I've been correct on a few as well.

Keep chugging Love potion #10.   Hopefully you end up correct.

You've already anointed him a future star?  Man I hope you're right...

That comment was a hypothetical of what will be said if Love does become a star.

Multiple times, when it looked like the Packers might have a shot at one of the very top picks, I said the Packers should take a QB because those opportunities seldom come along. Does that sound like a person that has anointed him as a future star?

Love really isn't playing any different than he ever was. The difference is the play and circumstances around him. The OL has held up a little better, the WRs went from drops to winning contested catches, fewer critical penalties, and the defense hasn't given away 4th qtr leads like they did against ATL, PITT, Denver, and the Raiders.

While I agree that those around him are playing better, he has been more decisive the last three weeks. During the bad stretch he had numerous times a game where what he thought was going to be open, wasn't, and he panicked. Those instances have drastically decreased. Is it better planning / prep / play calling by the coaching staff, or is it Love improving....or a combination of the two?

Or, maybe what he thought was going to be open and wasn't now is open because WRs are running the right routes or the pass pro is better. Maybe it's not 2nd and 17 because a penalty occurred. The penalties have really dropped off. The ups and down aren't as much about Love as people think. Look at the TD to Reed last week. Watson still ran a wrong route. It that ball had been deflected by a defender that wasn't supposed to be there who would be getting blamed? Watson made a play on an underthrown ball that went for 53 yards. If he doesn't make that play what are we hearing?

I see it as everything starting to come together. The Packers were beating themselves.

We have to be careful about what’s reproducible and what isn't. Everything broke the Packers way against the Lions. Never apologize for winning and they made their own luck, but there's a lot of chests out right now. I hope the team accepted the challenge of being better than last week and came ready to work today.

The opponent is the ultimate standard that requires the whole team to be focused for their best. Super Bowl champs are coming to Lambeau to play on national television.

Andy Reid has a favorite restaurant he's been looking forward to bringing his team to for a meal and has lots of happy memories to share while everyone enjoys it. He's comfortable in town and they're not going to be overlooking us after last week.

We've been playing cupcake defenses compared to the effort the Chiefs give. It's not crazy to say their defense has carried their team and it's the best unit we'll play this year. Love is also going to be anxious to perform after his lackluster game in KC.

This is as big a stage as Love has had so far. Everything is amplified. It's a massive statement game if he plays well (win or lose). Should be edge of the seat football. Some games mean more and there's nothing as big in the regular season as playing last season's MVP QB leading a team defending the Super Bowl Championship. If Love can help lead the Packers to a win it's the rack that goes over the fireplace that makes him think about nothing else than getting a bigger one to replace it.

It's also huge for MLF. There were difficult circumstances last go round with the Chiefs, but he was embarrassed. It's not wrong to say this is the biggest Packers game since their last loss in the playoffs. They don't have to win to win, but it's the best measuring stick all year.

The Packers got a lot of breaks the last 2 weeks. Between the Charger drops, Goff fumbles, and Campbell brain cramps it became Christmas in November.

The offense has looked better because the OL is pass protecting better and eliminating the penalties that kept the Packers behind the sticks. It's allowed a deeper passing game but the running game is still subpar.

The defense has gotten some turnovers after a long drought.
