Not sure what to think about this game. KC will bring it on D every down, so the OL has to hold up really well or Love will be running for his life. I'd like to see MLF open the game calling short, fast passes (slants, quick outs, etc.) to let the OL settle in and back off KC's D line -- which means he'll revert to the 1960s "three yards and a cloud of... turf" and open with six straight carries by Dillon and two punts.

As for the D containing Mahomes, perhaps we should double-team Kelce and leave MVS uncovered; he drops everything anyway. Have Quay blitz every now and then and act as a bit of a spy on Mahomes since Barry insists on backing him away from the LOS at least 9 yards anyway.

I think the game stays close until into the fourth quarter. Then Mahomes' experience and KC's home-field advantage takes over and GB just can't keep up.

34-21, KC. Sorry.

Packers don't need to win this game for me to change my mind about Love. I will feel the same about him whether he balls out, or whether he stinks it up. It's not about one game, or stretch of good ones, or a stretch of bad ones. It's about consistency over a season or seasons.

Love has earned the right to be QB1 next year, and that's enough for now. It's never about just the good or just the bad, it's about the totality of the work.

Many thought Rodgers was done for before MLF arrived...then he has two MVP seasons. QB is the hardest position to fill in football...unless a guy is an absolute turd, you hang with him for as long as you can. I'm excited to see what 10 does this week after 3 weeks of growing success.

I was really hoping for a flex out of the prime time game since I have to catch a 6am flight the next morning for work.   But, if the Packers pull this thing off I don't care if I sleep.

I really think this one will be very entertaining game and the Packer defense hangs tough until they give up a long Kelce pass to set up the winning FG.  Chiefs 23 Packers 20

Before the Lions game I viewed both KC and DET games the same, just be competitive and don't embarrass on the big stage. But now it's different, this is a winnable game.

Just think how much this team can grow if they beat another top tier team and power their way into the playoffs. It's unlikely the Packers would make any noise in the playoffs but the experience would be invaluable heading into next season.

See this one going one of three ways:

1. Chiefs win comfortably.

2. Chiefs win close one.

3. Packers win a close one.

One and two strike me as the most likely, but I didn't give them any real shot against the Lions either.

The one thing that will change it is turnovers...if the Chefs gift us a couple like the Lions did...although you could argue the D went out and created the turnovers...the Packers could build a big lead and the Chefs have to fight up hill the whole game.

That is why they play the games...and why sports betting is such a fools errand. Shit goes sideways weekly.

An unknown factor that's been plaguing the Chiefs all year is both of their tackles are really struggling with holding penalties/false starts.

Jaawan Taylor leads all OL in holding penalties in the entire league. Shit loads of holdings and false starts. It may not show on the stat sheet, but look for Gary to get multiple holding calls if he's going up against Taylor.

On the other side, Smith isn't that great either with sacks allowed, pressures and flags as well. So Preston or whoever is rushing should also get some calls.

The Packers will have to go through a pretty impressive run in order to make the playoffs. If they can manage to do so, they’ll likely be the hottest team in the playoffs. Nobody will want to play that team.

David Carr predicts this: Jordan Love has played some of his best football since Week 9, winning three of the Packers’ last four games. After tossing five TD strikes -- and zero picks -- over his last two contests, the first-year starter makes his biggest statement yet on Sunday night when the Chiefs come to town. Love throws more touchdown passes than Patrick Mahomes and leads the Packers to an upset win in prime time
