At what point can we officially call a dagger up by 24? Asking for a friend.  

We know what the old regime could blow in 5 minutes. Got a glimpse of what the new could do last week but maybe ABM learned something from the last 18 minutes of the game. 

All I know is Mrs. Blair Kiel turned to me when we were playing Seattle and up 16-0 at the end of the 3rd in NFC Championship, and asked if I’d checked prices on a flight home to Wisconsin to watch the Super Bowl with my Dad.

That’s why I hate “dagger” declarations.

There’s no chance we win by 24. Maybe by 4

The “dagger” game we went to was, packers playing Seattle......owner of the saloon we went to, said, “that’s it, game over”......the Packers then went on to crack, and Seattle won the game went on to the Super Bowl, and lost, but damn.....will never EVER SAY DAGGER UNTIL the game is over.

Hockenson has cleared the concussion protocol and will be available tonight.

Pressure Stafford all night long, stop their running game and we won't need to worry about Hockenson or anyone else in a Loin's uniform. 3-0 in the division should be the goal for tonight's game. 

Did they stop playing Rundgren after TD's at Lambeau?  I don't recall hearing it picked up on TV this year or maybe for several years.

When the Lions take away our WRs, in effect, they take away Aaron Rodgers. 

Not really.  MLF started to show what he can do with TE's and RB's in the passing game vs. DAL.  DET has had a couple weeks to digest that attack and plan a fix for it.  We'll see.

More worried about this game than any this season. Lions defense is much like ours; giving up a lot of yards but forcing turnovers. They've had 2 weeks to prepare, get healthier. Our passing attack hurt by not having Adams, our pass defense hurt by not having Savage. If turnover differential is not more than 1 either way, whoever can score TDs in the redzone wins tonight. 

I am hoping that Alexander does not have a reoccurrence of his case of “heavy legs”. If our DBs can limit their receivers then we can do ok. But I think that the loss of Adams will limit our offense. The Packers need to find a way to get our other WRs open. I like the passes to the running backs and tight ends with a sprinkling of catches from our receivers. Maybe it’s just the new system but right now they seem pedestrian at best. Patricia knows how to field a defense and Bevell is a good OC with some success against the Packers in the past. We have a pretty good pass rush and a bend but don’t break defense. It’s our offense that I worry about. 

Williams will be back and he'll have a big game. Allison, too.

If they come up and try to take the short game away then #12 has to let it fly a couple times to MVS or Kumerow.     

Also, please stop using Gmo as the guy running the reverse action, jet sweep action, and bubble screens.   That's not his game.   He is a possession receiver, use him as such.

Watching Alabama - Texas A&M yesterday it got really depressing to listen to Gary Danielson go on and on about A&M trying to fill the hole left by consensus All American Jace Sternberger. 3rd round pick that could have been incredibly useful tonight. 

Stafford's QB rating the last four games, all Lion wins: average of 122.

Can't let him get comfortable in the pocket and the Smith Brothers need a productive night.

GB is one of the leagues best with pressure without blitzing. Rushing 4 and delivering pressure is one of the few historical NFL stats that usually translates into positive results. Other than scoring more points than the other team....

DET has kept Stafford relatively clean so far this season.  DB's minus Savage have to step up to give rush a tick more to get gome.  Beware the Hock.

Ruggs is the closest thing I’ve seen to Reggie Bush in college in 20 years. True 4.2 speed. Alabama is loaded at WR but I watch to watch Ruggs. Hes not Bush. But He’s different level talent. He’s going to be a slot nightmare on Sundays.

I have seen him on sweeps a couple of times but he was not given the ball. At least it’s on tape so the opposing defense has to take it into account.

I saw a lot of blocks from Graham last week. However, most of them were against smaller guys. But that’s something to build on.
