I mentioned that game vs. the Jets before the MNF game vs. Vikings.

Their NFC North Champions T-Shirts say it all.

"The North is not enough"

They will do what it takes to win this game. This is no Mike Sherman team.

The States take taxes out of a paycheck depending on where you earn it.  For example the game checks for the 49er game (and chargers game) will have California state tax applied.   8 games will have Wisconsin tax taken out. The bears game IL.  The vikes game MN... these guys tax returns have to be about 300 pages long.

If I'm wrong, I'm wrong... but that doesn't sound right at all.

That is 100% right. Each state wants their share....

$100k in taxes for 1 week.

And that was 15 years ago. Bet it's even worse now.

It may be better now, may not. The top rate is 2% higher but the brackets are different and you pay the tax rate for each bracket before moving up.

Federal - 2005 Single Tax Brackets

Tax BracketTax Rate
$0.00+10%
$7,300.00+15%
$29,700.00+25%
$71,950.00+28%
$150,150.00+33%
$326,450.00+35%

Federal - 2019 Single Tax Brackets

Tax BracketTax Rate

$9,525.00+12%
$38,700.00+22%
$82,500.00+24%
$157,500.00+32%
$200,000.00+35%
$500,000.00+37%

For someone who made $1.5M (with no deductions) they would have paid $505,470 in tax in 2004 tax year.

In 2019 tax year that same person would pay $517,690.

I think the person making 1.25M or less doesn't pay as much. More than that they do.

That sounds about right but to be sure you need to ask a highly successful business man with a smoke show wife and a Traeger grill.

We are hoping that the Seahawks win tonight and they are hoping that we lose today.

I posted this earlier after playing around with the NFL Playoff Machine.

The Packer/Loin game is the key game for Seattle. If the Pack & Saints win, the best Seattle can finish is 3 seed. The Niners are flat out playing for #1 overall or #5 seed. The Niners cannot be any other seed. (This is due to their loss to the Falcons) Seattle can be #1, #2, #3 or #5.

Win this GAME Packers! WIN THIS GAME

I don't have a Traeger grill.
